Priceline Express Deals

Pop is a 3* ; I believe someone posted this same deal earlier today and it’s Coronado

I agree it's Coronado. Not only is it 3.5* 4.3 rated, but if you look on Expedia, they're offering Coronado for $205 for those nights. That's only $1 off the "Expedia price" that Hotwire quotes.

Hotwire wanted $137 in fees, I'll pass at this time.

$74 of the taxes and fees are taxes. You're not going to escape them by booking elsewhere.

Yes, the taxes will be charged no matter if you book from Disney or anywhere else and you don't see the taxes until at the checkout page of Disney, just like Hotwire. Plus if you use a coupon, such as from Retailmenot.com, you can bring it down another 7% and the fees become more negligible. Sometimes the fees make the deal not worth it from what Disney is offering - other times you can save quite a bit using Hotwire or Priceline. Always compare the final "check out" price and always use a coupon when using Hotwire or PL for lowest comparison rate. A few months ago I was clueless - but thanks to the kind and knowledgeable people on this board I've now booked twice, both at YC, and saved significantly. But it does take work and time - watching the sites - looking for a good coupon - comparing the best Disney promos, etc. Good luck!

I can confirm I just got POP for March 19-22 through Hotwire 3* with queen murphy bed..$451 with promo code HOTELPROMO30...my original ressie was $667..thanks everyone!

I use Club1hotels versus Hotwire/Priceline. They are a travel "club" that has access to the Hotwire/Priceline rates but you can view the rates prior to booking. There is usually a fee to join but they will usually allow you to join for free as well. As an example, for your dates Pop is almost exactly the same and Coronado is $440 all in. Their website is pretty wonky, and sometimes you have to go pretty far into the booking process to see the actual rate, but they have pretty amazing deals. I have no stake in the business, but recommend them to anyone who asks.

I keep getting taunted with a listing that the spreadsheet says is POFQ (April 24 - May 1). I know it's not true, but I would love to stay there! Anyway, here's a mystery coupon that must be used in the app. Extra savings of 4%, 7%, 14%, or 80% off.
SAVE NOW. TRAVEL ANYTIME.

Huh, so weird - Priceline Express has a lot of those un-possible deals out there for resorts that aren't open or even have an announced opening date. Have seen POFQ, AKL, AK Jambo now.
Plus, the prices on them aren't even good deals and they keep tacking the bogus "Free Parking" as an amenity on Disney resorts again.

FYI: I booked a Hotwire Hot deal last night for March 6-8 that was Yacht Club water view. Including taxes, fees, and with a promo code, it ended up being $357/night. That was more than $150/night cheaper than my AP discount.
I wish Hotwire would put out a decent Pop deal for my March dates. 11% is basically useless

In case you haven't noticed, right now the Pop deals run at about 43% off from March 1st - 21st, then Movies takes over at about 40% off.

Sadly, not for my dates. I can get a nice rate for CSR, but it’s too big and I can’t really eat any of the food there. I think Hotwire hates me 😆😆

Ah, that stinks. If you look at the calendar I published a few days ago I found there was a gap for Pop for the nights of the 16th - 18th, plus the 15th had jumped up to to a HotRate of $160.

I just tried moving the date window around and could get the 43% off Pop deals to show up all the way to the 14th - looks like Saturday and Sunday night have gone missing now. (Pop isn't even on Disney's site for those dates.)

I suppose you could think about a split stay Pop, then CSR using the HW deals so you get at least some time in there, but if CSR is no good for you then I'd just keep checking. Sometimes these deals come and go a few times - although that happens more with Priceline than HW.

Has anyone recently had issues linking their Hotwire ressies to MDE? I currently have a passholder discount room for 2/21 to 2/26 at the Yacht Club. It looks like if I book through HW I can stay an additional night so 2/20 to 2/26 and only have to pay a $100 more from what I'm paying now directly through Disney. Very tempting. I used the draw tool so I would be shocked if it wasn't the Yacht Club on HW.

I’ve done this twice in the last month and the reservations were easy to link.
