How close to the date do you feel comfortable doing a deal on Priceline? Sounds like it can take several days to get into the hotel system.
Mine was in the next morning, and I booked around 11:00 at night. How close to the date do you feel comfortable doing a deal on Priceline? Sounds like it can take several days to get into the hotel system.
No, sorry! I have no intel on this, unfortunately.Did you ever find out any information about this? I had the same question.
What were your dates? Thanks. I still haven't had any luck with a Disney hotel, but I keep looking.

What dates are you searching? Have you tried hotel canary?Hi Everyone
Just looking at PL and when I do a search for "walt disney world" and select either the "Bonnet creek area" or "disney springs" I can find a 5-star resort with "Airport shuttle" amenities. According to page 1 there this should be a give away that its a Disney resort.
Any other hits of what to look for to be more specific about the resort?
Also I tried to look at HW and could not find any hotel in the same areas with the "airport shuttle" amenities.
TIA

I can only find the express deals which should indicate that the resort is a disney resort as it had the "airport shuttle" listed. But I can no other indications of which resort are listed. The last few days I’ve found -0- Disney properties on PL. Was originally searching for 1st week in July and then 1st week in September. *Hopefully* they are gearing up for some sort of discounted pricing?
That 5 star is likely the Waldorf - that is what Hotel Canary says. The Waldorf often comes up on PLE. I don't think there are any 5 star Disney hotels. There are many tips to figure out what the hotel is. One is to use Hotel Canary. Others include looking at: what the fees are, how much the discount is from the transparent PL booking, the rating, the number of reviews, and all the amenities. John J Tiierney, who I think posts here sometimes, has good tips on his geneology site and in touring plans blog where he explains the tips for figuring out a PLE deal. He also has a handy tool for searching for them. There are many great tips here in this thread too of course.Hi Everyone

Howdy - "Airport Shuttle" has not been an amenity that helps tell you a PE deal is Disney for awhile; Priceline has changed things up several times now.I can only find the express deals which should indicate that the resort is a disney resort as it had the "airport shuttle" listed. But I can no other indications of which resort are listed.

Also, notice whether or not there are Additiional Mandatory Fees:Thanks everyone, i'll install hotel canary and get an eye out for Disney reservations when we get a bit closer to my dates.
they disappeared over the weekend .... right as I was ready to pull the trigger on FQ June 30-Jul 3. I'm checking daily in the hopes that WDW resorts return.Yeah, I've noticed that too... Disney has disappeared from PL, over the last couple of days. I'm also hoping that this means that they are getting ready to dump some sort of new discounted pricing.
But... this is why we booked a room through Disney... better safe than sorry.
