Priceline Express Deals

Would this be AKL?

Not seeing a Resort Fee, but I'm not sure where it would show up?
AKL is the only 4* 8-guest in Bonnet Creek with 400 reviews.

An easy way to feel good about the guess is to compare the crossed out prices on the hidden deal and a non-hidden listing for the resort you think it is. In this case, they do match at $459.

*Usually* if you then go into the non-hidden listing you'll see the room type that is out there for that price.

In this instance, it is not an exact match since the standard room is $463 and not $459, but I'm going to say pretty darn close and really has to be that room type.

Doing that non-hidden listing compare can be helpful in cases like the current Coronado Springs drop: it helps identify that the hidden deal rooms are all Kings. (If I were looking to book and needed room for 4 in that case, I wouldn't risk booking the King hidden deal.)

Thank you, I think the dates I had were October 23 - 30th. Fairly new to this, so I'm not exactly sure how it works!

Hey everyone, I've been creeping on this forum while considering our room options for our trip next year. We are aiming for a trip 11-30-25 through 12-7-25. I plan to do a DVC rental the last 5 or 6 days of the trip. I am considering using a Priceline Express deal for the first 2-3 days. We would need 2 rooms with 5 adults and 2 children (my in-laws and brother-in-law will be coming with us this trip). I've been checking the Black Friday weekend for this year to check availability for what we would need next year. Is there a recommended sweet spot window to book these rooms (obviously not any time soon for me, just for future reference)? Also, for 11-30-24 through 12-1-24 (2 rooms), would this be All-Stars? Just curious if I'm identifying things correctly.

Just for reference, we spent the first three days of our last trip this year having a travel/pool day, doing Gator land, a lunch at Grand Floridian (with a monorail trip to visit the gift shops at Poly and Contemporary) with evening trips to Disney Springs. We would probably try to do something similar our first 2-3 days again. Any recommendations on what hotel we should aim for? I would be open to on or off site with a planned rental car those days. Thanks for all your help!

I agree it could be AS....but....your info related to the picture is incomplete....which date span did you use to show us....117/468 for 2 nights....something looks odd with your data...2 nights at 117 should be 234.....

We need the specific date span as there are about 3 or 4 price points in a given week not included bump ups due to "season" changes (value vs regular vs peak, for example)

It's for 2 rooms, hence the $468.

It is for the two nights but also two rooms which pushed the price to $468. Here is the information when you click.

The microwave part is strange. No regular rooms at the All Stars have microwaves, unless they are considering the one if the food court. I doubt this is a family suite at ASM, which would have a microwave, that price is too low for a family suite. I'm not a Priceline expert, though. And who knows if they will even offer rooms on these discounted sites next year!

There's literally no rhyme or reason for when these deals pop up. During the summer, when hotels were at low capacity and everything was available to book even 1 week out....nothing. This new batch popped up about a month ago and seems to be at the end of oct, Nov and dec. Arguably, busier times of the year. So don't ever count on an express deal, they're just a bonus if they do happen.

Sometimes the Priceline algorithm will show different prices of different people.

I am a Gold member and I have stayed there before.

I have my settings aligned to show the price with all taxes and fees.

One picture shows the main search page of my results and I tried to show the date span. Please note that does say there is a hint and I have stayed there before.

The second picture shows the results after clicking on that offer and yes, I see how it has the funky description of amenities but we have documented before that sometimes Priceline has some quirky descriptions.

Remember that listing that showed that one of the rooms in bonnet Creek had a queen bed or a full bed or a sofa bed...... When in fact the art of animation family suites actually have all three?!!

To although the price for you and the price for me baby different, I do believe the listing you've displayed is in fact All Star Sports.PXL_20241018_191056714.jpgPXL_20241018_191128433.jpg

@Blumst

I just noticed your 2 rooms have 5 adults.....that may be why your cost per night may be higher than mine....standard pricing is for 2 adults per room.....and I assume one of your room will have 3 adults

Yeah, that's correct. Me, my wife and two kids in one room. My in-laws and brother-in-law in another. Thanks for justifying my thought process!

After several years of working on hidden deals, I can definitively say: Don't bother looking at amenities on listings. They often are not correct and don't make any sense. They *tend* to be consistent for a given resort, but so many have exactly the same amenities they are no help to identify. Focusing on location, star & guest ratings and review counts is the way to go. :)

If you haven't figured this out already, yes, it is 100% going to be Sports.
The only 3-star resorts in BC with 700 reviews are Sports and Pop.
If we ever see Pop again on PE I suspect the price will be a fair bit higher because sky ovens tax.
We've had reports back from people booking the Sports rooms.
Good luck! :)

I'm 99.9% sure this is the Dolphin. Is the resort fee included in the taxes and fees or will that be additional at the hotel?
