Just a quick note, but had pretty much given up on PriceLine for car rentals the last couple of years. Prices were not competitive, etc.
But, just decided to try them today and made my bid some $70 cheaper than I could get it ANYWHERE else, including Carrentalsavers, hotwire, as well as direct with all the big six.
It was accepted and it was Hertz....All of you who may had given up on PL, may consider them again. I am happy enough (Full-size car for four days $107 total -- taxes etal -- vs. the next cheapest (Budget with loads of coupons, codes) at around $180.
