Priceless Vacation Code/National

I just tried using my Entertainment Coupon number and my Entertainment Contract ID number along with the Priceless Vacation Code on the National Website and I'm not getting the Priceless discount. I checked Mousesavers and it still lists the Priceless code. I used it in January 2005 with no problems. Has anyone else had any problems with this recently?

I've found that the AMEX code is giving a better discount lately.

Depending on when you are trying to reserve, the quota of Priceless discounts may already be taken. Someone else ran into this same situation.

you can only use one CONTRACT ID code not both...essentially the priceless code is a contract ID code .....up until now National has allowed mixing ....e g. .priceless contract id and entertainment coupon

Also, the priceless code doesn't really show up as a discount, you are saving the airport fee or what ever that is aren't you?

priceless code sometiimes shows up as 10% discount listed, other times have seen it reflected in a lower base rate....

in the end though as we all know it is the bottom line number we all look at....smilawgs

The Priceless code doesn't show up under "discounts," it just doesnt add the "Concession Fee" at the bottom.

The AMEX code gives a lower base rate, but doesn't reduce any taxes or fees.

Priceless does give a discount. I have found it to be better than Amex. Our base rate is $269.23 for a convertible for a week, the discount is $80.77 from Priceless and another $20.00 from the ent. coupon. There are no concession fees, and the total after taxes and all is $198.30. So, Priceless does indeed give a discount. A pretty good one at that! It also depends on the type of car you rent. Priceless just may not have discounts for all of the car classes. Those that I've found discounts for are: Compact, Inter., Standard, Full-size, and Convertible.

The past few times I've rented with National, I've gotten the Priceless discount as well as the Entertainment $20.00 discount. I just didn't get it this time. I guess I'll keep trying and hope I will get it. Thanks.

I didn't type my response right, I don't think. It DOES give a discount, but on my screen it doesn't list it separately under the "discount" heading. It just leaves the concession fee off, so that is the discount. Am I right? Or should I be looking for a dollar amount being subtracted in the "Discounts" column?

Am I confusing enough?

I tried it again and I still didn't get a discount using the Priceless code, nor did it give me the "discount" as a no concession charge.
I'm putting the Priceless Vacation Code into the Product ID.
The Coupon ID for the Ent. coupon in the Coupon ID blank.
Then the Contract ID for the Ent. coupon in the Contract ID blank.
That's how I've done it in the past and received the discounts but it just isn't working this time.

if you check your reservation by viewing after you have confirmed it, you will often see that national now has a product code rate INSERTED

Thanks so much! It worked! I just wasn't doing it right. You'd think I would have remembered or figured it out since I just did it in January. I guess I was having a "senior moment" as some would say.
