I am working on my budget and was wondering what the price of the items at the concessions are....Anyone know?

TIA

I don't know, but I would also like to ask if you can bring your own pre-packaged candy on board?

Thanks!:thanks:

We brought our own boxes of "movie" candy. However, we did buy popcorn twice. I want to say it was either $4 or $5 per bag, and not all that great, but the kids wanted it. Not sure how much candy is as we never even looked at it since we had our own.

Popcorn is not popped on the ship. The popcorn is pre-packaged.

Agree about not really needing the candy/popcorn. We had main seating so the show right after and really didn't need to eat more!! However I suppose if you are going to a movie midday, you might want something.

We brought some candy on board with us and never opened it! We did buy popcorn one night...the clear plastic smaller bag of kettle corn. It was about $5. My daughter ate about 3 handfuls and was done! They sell large bags as well (like you would get at the grocery store) but I don't know that price.

DD wanted a bag of cheese popcorn before the "Wishes" matinee on the Fantasy. There are bags of plain popcorn & I'm not sure how much those are. The flavored popcorn (cheddar cheese, s'mores, caramel corn, rainbow, etc) is the popcorn you get in slender bags at WDW & are $4.95 on the cruise (they are $5.95 in the parks).

Hope this helps!

ETA: We got movie candy in our FE :)

We watched a midday movie and we, absolutely, couldn't eat anything. We just had lunch (at MDR) and then we have Main dining so we didn't want to be too full to eat dinner. I don't remember ever getting a snack. Most of our meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) were in the MDRs. I don't recall getting a snack in between....except once we went to get ice cream after the show.

My children did want to get some popcorn but they realized afterwards that they would be too full.

I would recommend buying a bag from the store or popping your own before you leave, put it in your carry on bag and then you have it. I might do that. Trader Joes has some great movie popcorn. The problem? Keeping myself from eating it on the plane! :rotfl2:

The popcorn was $5 on the last couple sailings. It was surprisingly good. Wasn't stale at all--very crispy and crunchy. Had a good amount of salt and butter flavoring. Can't say that about every bag of popcorn I've bought from a land-based movie theater.

We were just on the Fantasy and the plain buttered one was only $4.49. It's not in the slim clear bags but one of those bags you may find in your grocery store. It tasted pretty good and it was a decent size bag, definnitely 2-3 people can enjoy it. As previously mentioned, there is SO much food to consume on the ship, my kids just wanted the popcorn to nosh on.

That seems high compared to what we paid on the Magic last week.

I got popcorn twice. Once via room service and once at the theater with a bag of candy.

When we ordered from room service we added tip to the bill and it was $3.48.
At Preludes I had one bag of popcorn and one bag of gummy candies. My bill ws $6.44.

My husband added the tip for room service so I'm not sure how much he added but I would guess $1.

With all the "free" food on the ship, I found it pretty unnecessary to buy popcorn at the movie. What I did do was get a drink from deck 9 (on the Wonder) and brought it with me to the movie and I think my DD was working on an ice cream when the movie started.

My husband loves popcorn!! Can it be ordered from room service on the fantasy? That would make him Soooo happy:goodvibes

Peachygreen, you are right! I just pulled out my Guest Folio Summery and sure enough, it was 2.49 for the bag of popcorn, plus I added a tip. I remember thinking that was a pretty good price. We also first get drinks from the drink station and take it to the theater with us.

Yes you are never super hungry on ship! Lol we brought our own candy. A few times we also went and got some lunch (chicken strips & fries) and ate our lunch.
