Price of Goofy's Kitchen Dinner?

OK, revision necessary. I forgot about the AAA discount.

IF the price WITH tax and tip is $40/17.50 on the spot, THEN my 10 percent AAA discount SHOULD save me more than the ARES vouchers (which were $38/$16), working out to about $36/$15.75 (not sure if the AAA discount counts for the tax/tip, but that's a fraction).

So actually, using my AAA discount is slightly better than the ARES vouchers, unless I've screwed this up somehow. Again.

Anything wrong with my "new math"? Always better to be mistaken now than when the bill comes!

I'm not certain what the kids price was, but the adults were definitely $36 after AP discount. I don't have the receipt as my wonderful mother-in-law paid for dinner.

Just secured PS seating for my DD's birthday on October 30th. Was told the Dinner was going to be $40 for adults, and $17.50 for children. These amounts include tax (8.7%) and tip (15%). AAA discount at the door should reduce to $36 for adults and $15.75 for children.

Then the AAA discount would definitely be a better deal, especially when you add in the $5 fee for ARES. I think I'll just wait and pay at my meal using AAA.

Thanks for the info!

Yep, I'm going to wait until we get there to pay with AAA discount. It will save me another $25 (I originally thought the $40 didn't include tax or tip, so those were in my budget), plus some of the people are driving over that day and (based on past experiences with this crowd) I would not be floored if someone showed up late.

Yikes, I didn't realize it was so expensive. My sister just made reservations for our family to eat there and now I'm not so sure my DH is going to let us spend that much $. :(

If you go with the breakfast brunch it is well worth the 31 dollars(which includes tax and tip). The food is very good, lots of selection and some very interesting dishes you really wont see anywhere else. I've always enjoyed they're characters as well, lots of good photo ops

Does anyone know if there are any restrictions on the vouchers? Can I use it Thanksgiving Day?
