Do you have water color pencils? Drawing some lines and then blurring them would look really cool. If you didn't have already adhered, I'd say give a cool embossing.

Yeah, it needs texture doesn't it? It's a sample, so I can change it for the final card that people make. Hmmmm, maybe I'll run it through the cuttlebug with a texture plate.

I may try the watercolors on this one though, since it's adhered.

Thanks for the ideas!

Is this a class?

It looks pretty cool. Would you give us the "class list" with instructions? :flower3:

I wouldn't call it a class. I'm an SU "hobby" demonstrator, i.e., I basically do it for the discount. But, I have a friend who loves to throw parties. In December, I did a "workshop" with two full size cards, two small enclosure cards, and a couple of gift tags. She had something like 16 people show up! I was exhausted.

So, this time, we are doing Valentine's cards. I'm doing up "samples" of cards that people can make. One for your DH or SO, one for a boy and one for a girl. Then they can make as many as they want at a per card price (that I have supplies for). And, we're doing a little treat too, either a 2-4-6-8 box, or just a peppermint patty cover (see my photos below). I also did a conversation heart box, but that's a bit too complicated for non-crafty types. I tend to overdo, because I have soooooo many ideas running around in my head, but I'm thinking of doing a treat topper out of the Top Notch Die too...The kids usually have a "special" snack on Valentine's day, so it would fit a baggie...

Long-story short, yes, I'm doing a class. The card above uses SU Pink Pirouette as the base, Close to Cocoa as the first (4x5.25) base, and Very Vanilla (3.75x5) as the second base. The tree is cut out of Close to Cocoa using the Stretch Your Imagination Cricut cartridge (autumn tree on shift) on either 4 or 4.25. I tied a generic pink gingham around the trunk of the tree and used the SU Love You Much stamp set with Close to Cocoa and SU heart punch to make the hearts out of Riding Hood Red and Pink Pirouette. The larger hearts are popped up with dimensionals.

I used the scallop punch to make the first base in Riding Hood Red, and a smaller scallop to make the second base out of the Candy Lane Designer Series Paper. I stamped the Hugs & Kisses in Close to Cocoa and used a 1.25 inch circle to cut that out alone and popped it up on top of the DSP. Voila!

If you'd like further info on the Love You Much Promotion, please PM me (I don't do this as a business and am happy to offer my discount).

Here are the treats too, which use a combination of both SU and K&Co. produts:
