Hi, we are planning on going to WDW in 2008.

Does anyone know about when the new price list is ready for next year? And when can you start making reservations?

Thanks in advance!! princess:

When I spoke w/ WDW Friday, they told me they will book 400+ days out on a room only ressie, but the rate is not guaranteed. Packages can be booked 11 months in advance throught WDW. The same goes for AAA 11 months out. We are planning May or June 2008 (still haven't decided if we should take our then 1st grader out of school). AAA told me to call in July for pricing.

I too questioned Disney about how early we can book. I was also told 400 days. we are not going until Sept 2008 so we have a while to book, but still doing my pre-planning. Getting everything all lined up for the day I can call and say " Book my ressies for CSR please."

You can book a package up to 499 days prior to your arrival date. I booked a package that far in advance last time, and when the ticket prices went up it didn't affect my package. We are planning to go again on December 2008 and I was told that I could call in July to book that trip. I have never booked room only, we always book a package.

Did you book through WDW directly? Or through a travel agent? When I called WDW the CM told me I could book now, but I'd have to pay the difference once the new prices came out or I could just call back and book later in the summer. I have seen several people on the boards saying the same thing you did, that you paid early and didn't have to adjust to new prices.

Thanks for the info. :cutie:

I am deliberating on whether to get the park hopper with our tickets or not. My kids are 2 and 5 and we are going to be spending 5 days at disney, do you think we need the park hopper option?
Thank you

You can add them on once you are there if you decide you need them. :thumbsup2 if you are not sure if you need them, it is nice that you don't have to worry about it, I think that is pretty cool. It's a big savings if you don't get them, more souveniers!

It's a flat rate, so it's the same cost if you add them on the first or last day.

have fun!

We have the same situation. We are ready to book for Feb 2008, but the package prices are not out yet. Its kind of a waiting game. I want to get a deal for booking early, and not feel like I'm penalized later if a discount comes out and we're not eligible for it. I would appreciate any help or advice for long in advance reservations. Thanks!

I booked through CRO last week, room only, for March '08. I was told that when the '08 rates come out, the rate will be adjusted. The CM said to call back late summer (another said July 1st), and the '08 rates should be out and I can change the room only reservation to a package. HTH!

That's true about booking early but I would rather book early than have no availablity which does happen.

What does CRO stand for?

Central Reservations Office. It's the only way you can book for '08 right now, you can't do it online yet. Just call (407) 939-6244. :thumbsup2
