Price Increases on AP.

Anybody notice the price increases on the APs on the UniversalOrlando Web Site?

About $110- I had to renew in October and the price was $107 which was up from $99 I believe. Still a great bargain, though. An AP renewal at WDW with my DVC discount is over $300. I don't know the exact amount anymore. WDW doesn't offer any of the AP discounts that US does.

I was lookin at the initial purchase of a AP - from the last time I looked I think the Power and Premier went up $ 10 and the preferred pass is $ 30 higher.

Melissa and I were planning to get the Preferred Pass, but since the difference between the Premier is only $60 now, I guess we'll do that.

The price increase still stinks though.

Just noticed it myself..

DW and I do it alittle diffrent.She will get the Prefferd pass and I will get the Power.The power does have blackout dates but thats the time of year its super busy.We dont go then anyway!!

But her having the Prefferd gets us all the discounts,and we save(since the prices went up now)almost $80 this way!!

The renewal increase for the AP went into effect march 08.
I was used to the $99 renewal rate for my AP.

I paid $117.10 for the renewal, tax included, last year.

Depends on the ticket...mine doesn't but the "season pass" does.

When I renewed my family's Preferred AP's they got 3 months free I believe, making it even a better deal.

With that said I noticed last night that everything went up $10

I get the Premier AP and with the 20% off merch, free valet, discounts on hotels, it's such a great deal.

And that is just the regular park hopper AP (does not include the water parks or DQ) and is after the $100 DVC discount but includes tax which is like $24. That is why we have a hard time leaving WDW to try US. We pay so much for the WDW AP's we feel we must use them to the fullest extent that we can.

that's their general idea

since we had the bogo year free U APs we didn't bother buying a WDW one and decided to visit DL & UH for our summer trip year , then U-HHN, short DCL & just discounted MYW tix for Oct's trip. It felt nice not to feel obligated in myplanning this year kwim?

still, if my plans hold & i'll be able to squeeze 3 trips out of one beginning this June, I probably will buy it this year
