Price increase?

I am full of questions today... How often does Disney increase prices?

There is not a set pattern, but I think it is almost annually. I'd have to look at the history but it seems to me that the increases are pretty regular.

Keep in mind, sometimes the increase is hidden by discontinuing incentive discounts. That's a price increase without calling it one.

There are two price components.
1. Points purchase. You pay a one time charge for each point based on the set price when you purchase. Price increase for points tends to be about once a year (Someone correct me if I am wrong), so if you addon pts later then you pay the new price for those pts only.
2. Annual maintenance fee per point which is based on your home resort. It is recalculated for each calendar year (01-12/31). This generally increases ~3-3.5 % per year. You pay based on your contract points.
