According to Touring Plans on Facebook:

New Disney Dining Plan rates for Walt Disney World have been made available, and we hear they may go into effect as early as today, Wednesday, March 9, 2016. This is a 3% increase across the board with no apparent change in service inclusions. Here’s a breakdown of the changes (prices include tax):

Plan Inclusions (per night)

Quick Service Dining Plan 2 Quick Service Meals
1 Snack
1 Refillable Mug
Adult $44.13
Child $19.04

Regular Dining Plan 1 Table Service Meal
1 Quick Service Meal
1 Snack
1 Refillable Mug
Adult $63.70
Child $22.85

Deluxe Dining Plan 3 Table (or Quick) Service Meals
2 Snacks
1 Refillable Mug
Adult $115.08
Child $35.49

I feel like if they are going to raise the price again they should include more. Also do we know if the premium dining package changed?

As shocking as it seems, that is probably fine as it probably means that prices in all the restaurants went up by an average of 3% as well. They just don't really advertise that.

I still don't see the dining plan as a value from as when I've eaten at Disney restaurants I have never come close to spending $63/day on food there .. even when I've eaten at a $30-40 character buffet as my Table Service meal for the day.

I know I could get my money's worth if I tried really hard .. but I would feel like I'd just be spending all my time eating every day :)

I love the dining plan. I use it to explore restaurants and other places around the resort. I love the food at Disney so I like to experience at lot so I can offer recommendations.

Wow, makes me really glad we just added and paid for the DDP on Monday. I have noticed a few restaurant menuboard pics I've seen on blogs recently that price increases were noted.

Trying to come out ahead on the DDP really does seem to be like trying to catch a falling knife, technically possible but very difficult, as they will always increase prices and reduce service, at least unless they need to encourage more folks to purchase. Apparently they are not having trouble with that by all indications, at least in the USA.

We stopped using the DDP years back, and went with TIW instead. When we on the plan, I found myself ordering the most expensive item on the menu just to get my moneys worth. Both me and my wife also didn't like sticking to a dinner reservation just in case we change our minds and wanted to stay somewhere longer. We found that TIW works best for us as we can still eat at Disney when we like, but most of the time we find ourselves going outside the parks to have some amazing dinners in the area.

What is TIW?

So I just played around with dates a bit and it seems like this price increase (along with the multi day ticket increase) starts 6/12.
