Price increase for Cinderella's Royal Table at Magic Kingdom

Not really a major price increase. They announced prices were lowered specifically because there were no characters. So no surprise they were raised when the princess meetings returned. And the increase from precovid is minimal, considering how much other prices have increased in the past 3 years, both at WDW & in the rest of life.

Has anyone been yet? I'm so interested to see which princesses attended - whether it's identical to how it was before or things have been changed

When it comes to Walt Disney World and restaurants especially the ones with character dining they usually see a huge price increase around the springtime. Why I think Cinderella's Royal Table increased it's prices is mainly because it's gonna be spring soon and the people who eat there are gonna pay the springtime prices for 2023. With the long anticipated return of the princesses which is the main top draw of Cinderella's Royal Table I think the prices for food will continue to get higher and higher. But back when it was King Stefan's Banquet Hall in the 80's and 90's it was known for expensive prices and slow service and people complained of the food quality there. But I think what Cinderella's Royal Table will do now is become like Be Our Guest and offer a more expensively priced menu and just like Be Our Guest they will most likely have a after-dinner photo and a autograph session and meet and greet with the princesses like Be Our Guest does with The Beast. But what I can't figure out is why Cinderella's Royal Table doesn't have a children's menu because a lot of little girls love the Disney Princesses and they should've had a children's menu because many children are picky eaters and for the price you pay to eat there there should be a children's menu. Because it seems like Cinderella's Royal Table seems to only attract the adult crowd and couples and the only thing that attracts the children are the princesses so I think this price increase was just to see how it would go now that the princesses have returned

CRT does have a children's menu though? For example, lunch includes mac & Cheese/ nuggets as options. Children's desserts are sword in the sweet / build your own cupcake etc.

There is a childrens' menu and a meet-and-greet with Cinderella in the castle lobby already . . .

Huh? Is that new? We ate there in August and they had a kid’s menu…my then 6 year old ordered off of it. And there were plenty of kids there, not just adults.

As this is a prepaid meal....what about those of us who have already booked and paid for the meal? We will be there Monday.

I'm actually shocked it's not more. They're adding characters back to the meal and we're going on 3 years since we've seen CRT offering a full character experience. A $3 difference for breakfast and a $4 difference for dinner compared to pre-Covid 2020 prices seems like a pretty modest increase.

I think the price increase is quite negligible if you are comparing apples to apples.

You can only compare Character Meal to Character Meal.

Breakfast went from $62/$37 to $65/$39

Lunch & Dinner went from $75/$45 to $79/$47

Literally $2, $3 and $4. :confused3

When you look at the general picture I think out of all the meals at Disney Parks the character meals are the most expensive and pricey and what I think Cinderella's Royal Table is also trying to do is make more money by using the simple trick of making guests add more stuff to the meal like the more expensive desserts and the expensive dinners like prime rib make the meals even pricier and I hope that now that the princesses have returned I hope people don't have a hard time reserving breakfasts. Because from reading Disney World travel guides Cinderella's Royal Table is the hardest restaurant to get reservations for breakfast and even when you call the restaurant it can be an annoying pain to get breakfast reservations at and it's better to do it in person. But with this new price increase at Cinderella's Royal Table I think this is the new pattern and other Walt Disney World restaurants will follow suit with their character breakfast prices too

I cannot see any option on the CRT menu to pay extra for dinner or dessert courses? Are you sure you're looking at the right menu?

So the character price for this setting has increased by 5%. It's expensive, don't get me wrong, but a pretty average looking increase?

I’m guessing you may have already paid the higher price when you booked? When I was looking at booking CRT a few weeks ago for a date in April, on the confirmation screen I noticed I was being charged the new $79 adult price.
