Price Increase $8 Per Point Jan.15th AKV?

If DVC increases points $8 Jan 15th, will resale prices start to rise to keep pace with increase??????There are some AKV resale listings at $92 per point.....

Depends on how desperate people are to sell.

I think it's far from a given that resale prices will rise by that same amount. Normally there is at least a $10 spread between direct and resale pricing. For the AKV contracts you mention, that spread is only $4 ($92 resale, $96 direct). That low spread is probably driven by people who cannot afford to sell their AKV contracts lower due to outstanding loans.

I hope not! We hopefully will have our current contract paid off next Dec. and I'd like to add on at AKV then. If they aren't running any good incentives we're probably going to go resale, so I hope those prices don't rise too much .
