Does it really work? I've tried that option at least 6 times with both mine or my DH's preferred AP and it always says it's not working.
OP, the last time I checked (November) I was told the renewal price was $149 for 12 months. I decided to wait. My AP expired next month, so there's still time for a better deal (compared to no deal at all). Last year I renewed for $109 for 15 months, but those days are gone. I did see that Florida residents can now buy a preferred AP for 14 months for the price of 12 months. It would be nice if they offered us AP holders a deal similar.
Thank you! I still have an extra one of those two park seven day $99.00 tickets that I bought last year when they were on sale. I bought three of them planning to use one myself last May, then have my husband and I use the other two in Oct when we went. When I went in May, I liked Universal so much that I upgraded my first $99.00 ticket to a Premier AP and then booked an extra trip to Florida for late August/early Sept just to spend a week at Universal. When I went back to WDW in Oct with my husband he also liked Universal so much that he upgraded his $99.00 ticket to an AP. However, I now still have that third $99.00 ticket. I was debating on whether to renew my AP when it expired in early May (and keep the extra $99.00 ticket for a later date) or just use the extra $99.00 ticket and then upgrade it to an AP.
