Price fixed 4 course meal at Artist Point?

I had it last year. The price was $49. You got a choice of "starters" (3 salads) , one cup of soup-2 choices, a choice from 4 entree's and a choice of 2-3 desserts. It was yummy.

Dh just got a salad and entree, we split the soup and dessert.

DH and I had this a year ago. Price at that time was $47 per person. Gratuity not included. It was very good and I would do this meal again in a heartbeat!
It consisted of

Great beginnings... smoked portobello soup ( excellent)

Salad: your choice of
Field greens salad with goat cheese toast and balsamic Chive Dressing
or
Frisee Salad with pears, smokey bacon, maytag crumbles and sherry walnut vinaigrette ( I had this~ very good)

Entree: your choice of
Grilled beef tenderlion on wild mushroom quiche served with sauce bearnaise (I had this ...very tender and flavorful) or,

Grilled buffalo steak with sweet potato-hazelnut gratin and sweet onion jam, or

Cedar plank roasted wild silver bay salmon served with celery root, parsnip mash, and sauteed swiss chard with wild mushroom vinaigrette

Dessert: your choice of

Artisit point berry cobbler seasonal berries and vanilla bean ice cream, or

Coffee two ways mochaccino bread pudding and vanilla latte creme brulee ( I thought I had died and gone to heaven... this is the best!)

The menu may have changed, but this gives you an idea of what to expect.

That was still the menu when we were there.

Everything on it was wonderful. There were 4 of us..so we tested it all.

You just gotta love artist point..yummy!

Wow! I'm glad to see the salmon and the cobbler as choices! The salads sound good too. I hope we can fit it into our schedule! Thanks for the info.

DH and I both tried this option last December. It was great

Just something to keep in mind. At that time, certain portions were smaller when ordered as part of this package.

The soup was a cup, as opposed to a bowl. The cobbler was also smaller than if you ordered it a la carte. I don't remember if the salad was a smaller portion or not.

The entrees were full size, as were at least some of the desserts.

There was plenty of food, but if you are comparing a la carte prices to the package price to see if it's a good deal, you should keep that in mind.

I could make a full meal of the Portobello soup.
