Price Drop on SW and ???

My flights have dropped on SW - $50. If I go through the process of getting my credit, will I be given the option on adding EBCI to the flights? I don't anticipate DH and I traveling anywhere in time to use the credits and I'd rather put it to use.

Also, if I go through that process, will my confirmation number change? We will be traveling with a lap infant.

ETA: Two nights ago, I just added EBCI to one of my flights. Any idea how that works if I rebook at the lower rate and can add the EBCI. I started the process on SW website but I have stopped at purchase new flights.

As long as you simply change your flight, you will get your credit and retain EBCI. If you cancel and rebook the flight, you lose your EBCI.

You will be given the option to buy EBCI bt you can not use your credit to purchase it. The credit can only be used for flight prices. Confirmation number will remain the same
