price adjustment at Target?

I just bought a Leapster cartridge yesterday for $25 and in today's ad they are $17.77! Does anyone know if they will price adjust and what the rules are etc.? I can't find the info on the website or in the ad.

I think they do adjustments if it's within 14 days. If not, I would return the cartridge and buy it again at the sale price.

target will price match if the item you purchased goes on sale within 14 days. This does not include clearence items.. At least that is how it used to be- I was employed there until last year.

I was wondering the same thing.

I was planning on buying DS the Legos that will be on sale on BF. So, I was going to get it today(only day to shop) and then stop by Friday morning for the price adjustment.

Another question:
Is it possible to return at item and re-purchase it at the lower price?

I've done that before a few times. I usually do my weekly shopping on Sats and a lot of times things will go on sale on Sun. As long as its in the circular, you're all set.

This happened to me at Target a couple of weeks ago. I went in on a Saturday and bought a bunch of stuff, a microwave, holiday outfits, window drapes...the very next day everything I bought went on sale. It was uncanny. Anyway, I took the receipt in to the store, I didn't have to bring the items back...good for me b/c the microwave was in use at home. They credited the difference just from seeing the receipt.

You ahve to go to the same target you bought the stuff at. i tried it at a different stor and they gave me a hard time.

No problem at all. Just take your receipt to Customer Service and they will gladly give you the difference. I've done this many times. As others have said there is a 14 day limit.

I think that might be on a store-by-store basis. I purchase things at my local Target and my SIL gets the receipt adjusted the day after Thanksgiving at her Target, 3 hours away. It's never a problem.

I don't know why they have a 14 day limit. I bought some stuff about 3 weeks ago and it went on sale today. Now I am forced to go to the store and rebuy the stuff, go to my car and get the old receipt and then go back in the store and return it. Of course I will stop by the customer service counter first and double check that they want to go through the trouble of doing all that or whether they'll just give me a price adjustment!!
