Previous July offers

Just wondering if anyone has booked July in previous years with a 40 or 50% offer?

Have Cheyenne booked for July because it was so expensive to swap Sequoia from our March booking to July, but I really want a hotel with a pool.

As we've never been in Summer season before I've never looked at offers, do they have such good offers in peak season ?

When we visited in August 2010 we had a 40% off offer and stayed at the Davy Crockett. It worked out really quite cheap for 5 of us! We didn't book until the end of May so perhaps the offers won't come out till nearer the time?

Yes, we booked for July 2010 during a 50% flash sale. I think it was in the May that the offer came up.

We went in July last year, I booked in January, I think it was 30% but that included travel too so was a really good deal. The current offer for the hotel is so much more expensive so I've booked the travel and am now waiting for a better offer. We want to go back to Sequoia Lodge again too, I'm hoping the next offer that come up is a good one!

Thanks everyone I shall sit tight with fingers crossed, I haven't told OH how much extra the trip is costing, couldn't believe it myself, the 2 days, 2 nights free offer just doesn't seem to be a very good saving to me.

At least I managed to get a good deal at the Kyriad through Travel Republic to tag a couple of extra days on but we won't be having another holiday this year.
