I LOVE big soft pretzels! I know there are several different places to get them in WDW...what are the best and where do I find them?! Thanks!!

I was in Disney pregnant three times last year (yeah I know - poor me)

Anyway, Pretzels were my big craving - so I had some everywhere.

They are all good, important to know though that the Pretzel Carts are all the same. If you want 'different' pretzels Germany is very good.

I may be in the minority, but I'm not a fan of the ones in germany. I thought they were too dry - guess I'm more of a fan of the mall type ones. I normally find them in parade areas

It depends on salty or sweet. We use nearly all of our snack credits getting sweet pretzels at La Kringa in the Norway Pavilion. My favorites are the ones with almonds. At the very least worth a try for a pretzel lover. We carried six home on the plane:thumbsup2

I can also think of the dipped in chocolate ones they have in HS, and the ones they custom dip in DTD.

In HS, there is a villain store near the wait time board. one end of that shop has confections, among them are chocolate covered pretzel sticks.

In DTD, Goofy Candy has a pick your own topping bar for dipped pretzels. First chocolate, then your choice of candy/cookies/nuts. I haven't been over there in a few trips...so it's been a bit, but I think they still have it.

I have many favorite treats in Norway, so I've not tried the pretzels there. I did like the ones in Germany though. We kind of do 'treats around the world' in WS...and they don't offer much other than pretzels in Germany, so that's part of it.

It's not exactly a pretzel..but Le Cellier has pretzel bread that IMO is better than any soft pretzel I've ever tasted! I got chocolate covered pretzels made at Goofy's in DTD. I had a spicy cheese stuffed pretzel in Animal Kingdom (by the Safari but I also saw it by It's Tough to Be a Bug I believe) which I was slightly disappointed with. It wasn't salted and it would have been better if it was. I also saw a sweet apple stuffed pretzel in Hollywood Studios and the MK.

I too am a sucker for a good salty soft pretzel. Are there any places that serve them with cheese? mmmmmmmmmmm.....

I think most places you can get a side of cheese sauce. The only other place I bought a pretzel at a stand was in AK and we got cheese with it too! Yum!!

Do they have the big, soft mickey head pretzels somewhere at WDW? I remember them at DLR but have never found them at WDW. :(

No and I wish they would, they have the pieces for the Mr. Potato Heads and my kids have asked about them.

I have to second the Pretzel Bread...be still my heart, so good.

My dh had a cream cheese pretzel he enjoyed very much at Astro Orbitor. (I wasn't with him at the time so I didn't get to try it.) He actaully ate it in line and then went and got another after (I just found that out now asking him where he got it!:rotfl2: )

DUDE....LOVE THEM......they're better than any normal pretzel anywhere! hahaha but maybee I like sugar....

and is this pretzel bread that everybody loves....is it the same that CRT does/did have? its too weird for me....

they have the spicy cheese filled pretzels at the snack shop that looks like a boat in Hollywood Studios over by Hollywood and Vine I can't think of the name at this minute but they are delicious!

I like the plain old pretzels with nothing but salt on them. There is a cart in Fantasyland, not far from Pooh's Playful Spot, where I get pretzels on every trip. My problem last time was that they stopped selling soda at the cart - I could not find a soda anywhere in the area!!!! I would have a very hard time eating a pretzel without a soda. The cart just sold water and Vitamen water. :sad2: I actually had to walk all the way to the Liberty Tree Tavern area to finally find a cart with soda.

I remember another pretzel cart near Test Track at Epcot, where me and my nephew split one and hear the Test Track cars zip by. :)

yeah, we got one of those! they were definitely delish... hmmmm.

Soft pretzels are awesome!! :) I've always loved them and just "have" to get them most of the time if I see them! (I buy the frozen ones at the grocery store to make in the microwave, too.) I love salted ones with mustard squeezed on top the best.

DTD has Wetzel's Pretzels - you can see their menu on AllEars. They have different types of pretzels as well as different dipping sauces to choose from (yes, including cheese).

And, of course, pretzels are at several carts in the World. I believe some of those carts are also listed on AllEars' menu area.

I better start writing all of these down for March...I'm on a pretzel hunt! I don't care if they're salty or sweet or savory...I just love the things! I've never tried any at WDW other than the salt covered ones from the snack carts - this trip...I am going to be on a pretzel mission!

I tried three different pretzels on my recent trip and Wetzel's Pretzels in DTD was by far the best. It had a soft, flaky yet doughy consistency unlike any other pretzel I've tried! The pretzels from the park carts, like the one I tried in AK, tasted boring and bland after that.

And of course the Norway sweet pretzels are great, but I prefer the school bread by a 1000&. :lovestruc
