I'm on a dairy free diet right now and we're heading to Disney on Sunday. In the past, we've always gotten pretzels at the little stands but i can't remember if they have butter on them. Does anyone know or where I can find out if they do?
There's no butter on them. They are dairy free. Also, each of the quick service/carts/wagons locations have a three ring binder that lists all the ingredients for the products they sell.
The info sent to me by the Special Diets department before our August trip indicated that the pretzels sold at the regular snack carts are completely milk free. By completely I mean not a single component of milk. My youngest who is allergic to casein (milk protein) loves them. I did NOT check on the pretzels in Germany. This is just the ones at the regular carts around the various parks.
You really should confirm that this is still true though. Things can change. I was shocked when I got new info between my June and August trips and I saw a couple things that had been safe no longer were (I can't recall what any longer). I'm waiting until January to ask for the latest lists for our February trip.
keep in mind that the pretzel bread at LeCellier is not dairy free. My GD is latose intollerant and was warned by the chef that she could not eat any of the bread at LeCellier -- bummer.
