Pretzel Dog at CRT

We were able to get a reservation for lunch at CRT. However, I am concerned about my kids eating as they are picky.

What is the deal with "pretzel dog?" Is the bun actually a soft pretzel? Are they mini dogs or regular sized?

Do you think the chefs would be open to putting something like fruit and/or yogurt (they have yogurt at the breakfast) on the side instead of the salad and sweet potato chips?

Has anyone had an experience where the chefs made something special for a picky kid?

To be honest I havent been to CRT for lunch/dinner but we have pretzel dogs here and its basically soft pretzel wrapped around hotdog almost like a pig in a blanket, they are pretty good actually.. I have known WDW to be very accomidating so you can always ask..
