Could somebody scan up to date copies of the two park maps for me? The ones I have got in the Useful Information sticky are completely out of date now.

Sorry, I did try. I have 2 pristine Park maps, that I bought back 12 days ago but my scanner only does A4 and these are A3. I will try to do it in work, but I can't access DIS in work, so I can only do it if it will go as an email attachment and if my home computer will read the email attachment.

Thank you so much for trying. I have the same problem - I can't scan anything bigger than A4 If you find they are easy to send from work then that's great, but please don't go to any trouble to do them.

That is a really kind offer Ema But I actually need a scan of each map so they can be posted on this board. Unfortunately I am not able to scan them in, so the maps themselves wouldn't be much use to me at the moment, except for fun!

Don't worry the map thread will get bumped when/if we get a scan of the maps

Okay, did scan at work. I saved it as a jpeg and looked at it........ black and white.
So I redid it and messed about a bit ....it was now in colour but at only as an adobe image. Still figured that might be okay. Must try and load it tonight,


Then I forgot to email it to myself at home.


I'll try again tomorrow.

I'm not being a great deal of help - the images are now on my home computer, but they are Adobe images which can't be uploaded on Photobucket (it seems) so I don't know how I am goung to get them on the board. Any ideas?

Try this to convert the format - there is a good converter called Omniformat, if you google for that.

Or open the image and try Save As instead of Save and save it as a JPEG from the drop down menu.
