Can someone please explain to me how the CP works? I know that's a broad question, maybe if someone has even a good link that would explain everything to me..
Do you pay for it?
Well, I know you get paid,...but do you like pay to live there?
Aside with actually living in DISNEY what are the bennefits of it?
What positions are available?
When would I do it..?
I'm in my second year of college at a community school, and plan on attending a four year college next year. I've seen a lot of people say they do the program after they graduate, but I thought you needed to actually be IN college? I know I could be wrong, but does anyone know? Because I think if I could do this after graduation that would be the best/easiest for me.

More random questions....:
Do you get to enter the parks for free? Or get a discount?
What are the rooms like that you stay in? Size, etc.
Do you bring your car, or do they have transportation for you?

To anyone who can answer most of these questions...YOU ARE AMAZING!
If not that's ok though, I know there's a lot here. Maybe a link would be more useful.
Thanks for all the help! :goodvibes

The short answer:
https://www.wdwcollegeprogram.com/sap/its/mimes/zh_wdwcp/apply/epresentation.html

Watch that, it has all the info you need

The long answer:

Do you pay for it?
No. Other than a $100 program fee when you get accepted

Well, I know you get paid,...but do you like pay to live there?
Yes, rent gets taken directly out of your paycheck each week. How much rent is depends on which apartment complex you choose to live in and how many roommates you choose to have

Aside with actually living in DISNEY what are the bennefits of it?
Lots, it depends on you personally just a few are having Disney on your resume, meeting new people from all over the world, trying out living on your own in a safe environment etc.

What positions are available?
A bunch of different ones, they're all on that website.

You can do it the semester immediately after you graduate

Yes. And you get discounts on merchandise.

What are the rooms like that you stay in? Size, etc.
It's an apartment with a kitchen and a living room and then from 1-4 bedrooms. 2 people share each bedroom. They're not mansions or anything, but they're nice.

Do you bring your car, or do they have transportation for you?
You can, but you don't need to. If you only need to get to work, the parks, Wal-Mart, and Publix you'll be fine without a car.

You just have to be in college when you apply...
....so yes, you can do it after you graduate if you'd like, you'd just have to apply beforehand. :)

Wow! Thank you so much, what a helpful answer! This was everything I was looking for. I'm dying to check out that website, but my computers not working right  Thank you so much though, I already understand this stuff a lot better!

I'm thinking I want to do this now......!!!!

Sorry I'm a pain!! So the money that they take out for rent....that doesn't include food does it? If it doesn't, do you get discounts on food in the parks and stuff too? Ok.....enough of the annoying questions already, I know (sorry)!

And my mom wants to know if family members get discounts :rolleyes1

You get discounts on select dining according to the website but I've heard not actually in the parks. Also it doesn't count for food they take out your rent and then the rest of your money is for gas groceries living ect...

You get a "maingate" pass that entitles you to allow 3 people in 6 different times. You also get other (smaller) discounts on park tickets.

Thank you for all the useful information! I can't wait to watch the vid on the website!--waiting for my bf to get home to watch with me!
Thanks everyoneeee :thumbsup2

You can also get discounts for your family on hotels - 50% off if you're staying with them, 40% if you're not.

Another benefit is that you can take classes through Disney. They offer them for in a variety of areas, from leadership and business to communication and human resources. You have to purchase textbooks for some classes, and you might have to pay a registration fee (I can't remember just now...). Plus, if you do the CP, you become eligible for some of the Professional Internships Disney offers, which might be useful if you see yourself working for Disney long-term.

Not to sound mean but all the questions you asked are answered on the disney college program website. Before going ANY farther I would go watch the presentation. It isn't a contract its just a video that explains all these questions.

No not mean at all! My computer wasn't working right yesterday (from a storm we had) and I couldn't get on any websites besides the Dis and my school's site. I'm all caught up now though...my computers working again and I got on the site :goodvibes

Awesome!! Its a lot of info and I had to rewatch/reread a few parts more then once! I reread the role descriptions a ton. I wanted to be sure I picked the right one for me.
