Pretrip Mail from Disney

I know as a Canadian we can't get our Magic Bands (or the flash drive). But what should we be expecting to get? We're waiting on the Magical Express documents, I expect they'll be here in the next week or so for an early February arrival. Is that all we need to be watching for?

If you booked with a travel agency they will get all your mail from Disney then forward it on to you. There will be the Magical Express packet for sure, but unless you booked a AAA/CAA package you may not get anything else. AAA/CAA packages come with a booklet of vouchers.

We booked directly with Disney.

So we should only be expecting the ME packet?

MYW travel documents 2-3 weeks before your trip
ME documents 1-2 weeks before
... if you're lucky. Sometimes closer to travel date. Depends on mail delivery.

Bit of a coincidence, but our ME packet just arrived, I think it was UPS that delivered it.

So just to clarify, nothing else is coming because we booked direct with Disney?

You should receive 2 packages.. The Magical Express pkg which will contain your baggage tags, souvenir luggage tags & the bar coded voucher for check in at MCO to board the ME.
The other pkg is from Disney Travel Co & has all of your trip details compiled into a booklet - all reservation details, vouchers for the extras (free mini golf, arcade credits for your hotel arcade, water sport rental discounts, golf discounts, planet Hollywood vouchers, spa discounts, Disney Quest admission voucher, etc, etc..)
You will pick up your magic bands at the check in desk at your hotel.

Our ME package contained all the necessary things, but no souvenir luggage tags. Oh well, maybe they'll be coming in the other one.

The Disney Travel pkg usually arrives about 3 to 4 weeks prior to Your check in date. It comes from the DTC offices in Mississauga ON. (at least that's where ours have always come from) 5 trips in 4 years always booked directly with Disney Travel Co/Disney Destinations, never a problem or issue. We love dealing with them!

The souvenir tags will come in your other package. They aren't part of ME.

Our Magic Express packet (including the yellow tags) arrived here in Nova Scotia the first week of December for our Jan. 21 arrival. The "MDE" pre-arrival packet --- with souvenir tags and the vouchers -- arrived a day or two before Christmas.
