Pretending to be Hosts?

The nerve of some people...

I was sitting in Central Plaza when someone wanted to trade. I've been feeling like trading my pirate thrones so I accepted.

They said.
Him: "You're dreams are about to come true."
Me: "?"
Him: "I'm a VMK host."
Him: "Would you like a Cinderella room?"
Me: "Umm, you're not a host. Stop pretending."

Then I exited and told everyone in the room that he was pretending to be a host. Then I reported him.

Why would people do that? Honestly..
