Can we just say our trip was "magical". Driving 12 hours with a 3 1/2 year old was much better than expected much to my suprise. Day 1 was MGM with full force. I had laid out this nice plan of what to do when. Well that all went to pot before the day even got started. We had issues with the transportation from the hotel (long story) and we ended up driving to the park (this was my suggestion to start with but my husband thought it would be better to use their transportation). Pal Mickey was wonderful!!!!! The first thing we did was meet up with Donald and JoJo. Preston absolutely loved the characters. We went to see the Little Mermaid which was a hit except for the water being sprayed. Then onto meet Chicken Little. Preston was wearing his Chicken Little shirt in hopes of getting it signed but I didn't know that the characters wouldn't sign his shirt if he was wearing it. CL made a HUGE deal about Preston having him on his shirt though which was cool. Then to Playhouse Disney which was another huge hit. He couldn't get enough of the characters. We were walking to find something for lunch when Pal Mickey went off. It was Stitch..........Preston's favorite. While in line for Stitch he went on break, great timing huh?? We meet Chip and Dale. Then over to Mickey and Pluto and my husband spotted Eeyore then Pooh and Piglet came to replace Eeyore so we waited for them. Mind you, we were heading for lunch when Pal Mickey told us of the FIRST character. By the time we were done with Pooh and Piglet Stitch was back. We got wonderful pictures with Stitch. He was so good with Preston. It rained while we were eating lunch but that was the only rain we saw for the whole week. Muppets 3D was probably the best attraction for Preston that day. He was :earseek: at the 3D and kept trying to reach for things. Everyone around us was laughing hysterically at Preston. We find Buzz and Woody and basically have to drag Preston away from Woody. The new stunt show attraction (the name escapes me right now) was a huge hit too. He is still talking about that one. Day one goes off without a hitch or a nap.

Day 2 - Magic Kingdom My plan for the day works perfectly. Head straight for the Winnie the Pooh ride with NO wait. :cheer2: Then all of the other things around in that area. The one disappointment was that the Haunted Mansion was closed. Lunch was reserved for Crystal Palace which was wonderful. The food was great. The characters treated Preston like a king and actually took the time to get some great pictures with him. It was WELL worth the money. Then a quick nap before the parade for Preston (poor guy was exhausted). We hit Stitch's Great Escape then. We had been warned that it might scare a 3 1/2 year old but let's just say NOPE. He loved it!!!!! Didn't like the smell but he loved the rest of it and it running around making Stitch sounds now. Then we hit Buzz Lightyear which was a big hit too. Preston scored more points than Daddy did. Don't know what he hit but he got 5000 points for something. We hit the racecars then onto Toontown. No waits there either except for Goofy's Barnstormer because it broke down for a second. We met Minnie there too and did wait for her but not long. It was worth it because we got GREAT pictures there. We let him play at the playground for a bit then caught the train back to main street. We waited there and got terrific seats for Wishes. Another long but great day.

Day 3 we took it easy. We had breakfast at Ohana and let me just say that was the highlight of our trip. The food was great. The character interaction was even better than Crystal Palace. We had a later sitting (10:00) and it wasn't busy at all. After we finished eating we hung around to get one more second with Stitch and boy did we ever. Preston had on his Stitch hat and his Stitch shirt and at one point, Stitch and Preston were on the floor comparing "Stitch growls". It was SO cute and yes we got great pictures. We also got lucky and got a picture with Lilo and Stitch together. After breakfast it was off to Downtown Disney to meet a friend. Lunch at Rainforest Cafe was wonderful. The food was great. Our waiter was crazy and a little annoying but good. It is expensive but the atmosphere was great.

Day 4 Oh we were so disappointed. We went to Sea World. Preston was either too tired from going or just not interested. Their schedule of shows was horrible. Everything was running at the same time and you couldn't get from one show to another before they locked the gates (and there weren't many people there). We did enjoy feeding the dolphins though. That was cool.

Day 5 we leave to head home but make a stop at Kennedy Space Center on the way. It was GREAT. We will be going back once Preston is a little older and can enjoy it a little more.
