Anyone ever use Prestige Towncar service to Disney? We used Happy Limo twice last year and were going to use them again until we found out they increased their rate. They no longer include the gratuity in the cost which increases it by $30. I recall someone on this board happy with Prestige but wonder if there are others who are happy with them. Any input good and bad would be appreciated.

I had booked Prestige as a surprise for our anniversary for my DH and was very happy with them.

I was sort of nervous since I was doing this on my own and the first time using a towncar service.

Our driver was Ray and was very nice and helped with the luggage and was early on the return to the airport.

I had called three companies and Prestige was the one I had the best "feeling" for.

Even though there was more on these boards about the other 2 I had called I still had the best feeling for Prestige so I went with my feelings and was not disappointment.

Hope this helps. Any other ?'s please ask

Were they prompt picking you up at the airport and picking you up to go back to the airport?

actually my surprise almost got screwed up my DH saw the Disney Resort store and said why dont we go in there

well if I would have said no he would have known something was up so we went through but very quickly!!!!

so as we were coming down the escaltors I kept galncing looking for our driver
but I didnt see him so when we went to baggage claim I told DH I was going look around well when I turned around there was our driver with our sign!!!!

He had been looking for us!!!!

he thought that was pretty funny how I had this surprise all set up but I couldnt say no to the resort store!!!!

PIcking up from the hotel we had requested about 1/2 earlier then what they had suggested and he was early!!!

So I would have to say yes they were on time both ways!!

I sure would use them again

and acutally I think with the $5 coupon booking on line its cheaper then the other ones I called!!!

any other ?'S please ask

It may have been my post you read about being happy with Prestige. We used them for our January trip and was a little concerned because I hadn't heard that much about them and we were doing a split stay and would need to be dropped off at the WL, but picked up at the AKL. I posted on several sites asking about them and every review I got back was good (not one bad report which to me was unusual--only one other company got back all positive reports). The reviews I got back usually mentioned a driver named Rafael or Ray, so I called and asked for Rafael. Unfortunately I didn't get him (found out later from our driver that Rafael was his boss, but sometimes drove also). I'm afraid I forgot the name of the driver we got but it started with a 'M' and was difficult to pronounce and he was Brazilian. He was great! On time, safe driver, friendly, & informative, but professional. Since my last name is very common I had requested my GD's name be put on the sign. You should have seen her face as we came down the escalaters and she saw him holding her name. He escorted us over to luggage pickup, helped us with the luggage, and wouldn't even let us help him put it in the trunk--said that was his job and our job was to relax and start having fun. Before we even left the airport he verified our pickup at the AKL and gave us his card with his cell phone number on it, in case our plans changed. The day he picked us up for the return trip to the airport, he was again prompt, dropped us off curbside, and took the time to make sure our luggage was checked curbside even handing the bags to the skycap. As I'm sure you saw if you checked their web site, they only charge $80.00 r/t trip to any WDW resort including the MK resorts, which most car companies charge extra for. Yes, Prestige was great and I have every intention of using them again when I go back for my solo trip in May. Forget Magic Express. I want to get to my hotel safely, quickly, with all my belongings, in a comfortable car, with a free 30 minute grocery stop and I know from experience that Prestige will do that.

We are going in Sept, possible doing 4day Wonder cruise first. Just few questions about Prestige. Was the price comparable to the other companies? Do you have a website for them?

www.prestigetowncar.com I decided to book them for our trip in March. With the internet coupon it's $80 round trip. We've used Tiffany once--didn't care for them--and Happy Limo twice. I probably would have used Happy Limo again except they increased their fees which would cost me about $30 more than last time by the time I tip. Forget that! I'd rather spend the $30 on snacks and drinks! :D

Thanks for the info. I have compared them w/ the others I had priced and they are def cheaper. Glad to hear the good comments about them too!
