Pressed penny machines

Does anyone know whether the pressed penny machines at WDW take British pennies or not?

i have never actually tried, but heres why i wouldnt

no.1 its illegal to deface the queens head

no.2 it could break the machine and then no one else can press there pennies they stay out of order for awhile as well

just us the cents, there easy enough to get your hands on when you start spending some cash. we have gazillions at home!!!

I've always found that we end up with loads of 1 cent coins - mainly because we always seem to pay with notes and not coins when we use cash, so the coins tend to mount up in the hotel room drawer LOL

I THINK that our pennies are a little 'wider' than the US cent.

Like PP's have said, I'd just stick with the pennies from the US, you'll end up with quite a few and I'm sure if you need them straight off, one of the stores will exchange other coins for you
