I am planning on doing the pressed pennies when we are there and getting each of my kids and album to fill up...wondered if there was one specific design to the album or if there are different ones. I have a friend going to Epcot this week and asked her to grab me two, but if there are different styles, I may have her wait so I can choose or have my kids choose.

Anybody know?

Thanks in advance!

When I was At Tinks Treasures last month at the MK There was a Tinkerbell Pressed Penny Album. I am kicking myself now, cause I didn't buy it then!

I was about to ask this question myself! How much are the albums? How many pressed penny machines are there? Anyone know?

When we were there, I only saw one type of album for the pennies. It is blue with Mickey on the cover. I think it was $5.95. There was another type but it was for the quarters. You can get the albums at pretty much every store on property.

There are tons of machines. This website has a pretty good listing - www.presscoins.com

One tip that was great that I read on the DIS was to take quarters and pennies in a long mini m and m tube and layer two quarters and then a penny so you had change ready when you got to a machine.

Enjoy! My DD loved collecting them and finding the machines.

My girls are so excited about doing this for the first time this June! We "practiced" yesterday at a Dinosaur park and they thought it was the neatest thing.... it will be so much fun for them, and something new they've never done at WDW before.....

My girls are excited to do it too. They didn't know what they were until our recent spring break trips to the zoo and aquarium. Now they can't wait to do it in WDW! And I love the cheap souvies!

The m&m mini tubes were the best idea for pressed pennies! When all the other parents were searching their bags for the change on the bottom, I just whipped out the tube and away we went. :thumbsup2

My DD loved the pressed pennies so much last year we are planning to just do them again in October. I'm not even going to care about the ones she already has -- we'll just compare when we get back home. ;)

My niece and I both bought the Tinkerbell pressed penny album. It was available almost every place in the parks that had a pressed penny machine in a gift store. The last page has places for pressed quarters.

The albums really aren't that much - maybe $6 or $7. There are penny machines all over the place. Every park has them (all over the place), and so does DTD. Many individual rides have their own designs as well. All of WS has them, except for China for some reason. We have 3 of these books filled (from WDW, DL and other places we go), since it's a relatively cheap souvie. 51 cents is not too bad. We always bring a roll of quarters and pennies with us.

The quarter machines are not as cheap - they are $1.25. We've never done these.
