Does anyone know if these penny machines accept Canadian quarters instead of american???? I heard it cost .51 cents to press a penny.

Offically, the machines need US quarters; however, if your coin is the right size and weight, it might take it. (Also called slugs) Most coin operated machines use size (determined by the slot you insert it into) and weight (interally done) to determine that it is the right coin. However, more and more machines now use high tech features and will not only not give you what you want, it will keep your slug.

Having said that, it is a federal crime to use "slugs" in place of legal US tender. (Thanks Mr. Humbug)

FYI, I have "paid for" a of roll of quarters and a roll of pennies at checkin. Never had problem get extra throughout the park when we ran out either,

I did notice that some of the machines did state "U.S. Currency Only". However, I don't think these machines are equipped to distinguish between different currency or even "slugs".

The previous poster is correct, it is not that hard to come up with quarters and pennies. A good number of the machines are located in shops. You can always ask for change from the cashier.
