My kids are avid pressed penny collectors. Do the machines take credit card or coins only? Any tips from pressed penny collectors?
Thank you!
Thank you!
Thanks that website is greatMost take credit cards now and use their own stock instead of you supplying pennies. Here is a link to try.

My kids would agree! They love crank machines!Sadly, very few of the old crank machines left. Nothing really magical about pushing a button…kind of like new slot machines…lost all the appeal of gambling when I can’t pull the handle and hear the nickels banging…![]()
Oh great tip! We will head there!I just bought some in the Matter Hatters Shop, they have a Critter Country one with Brer Fox on it. Had to grab it before those characters are never seen again
Update: I’ve found that the Disneyland app is the easiest way for me to search for the pressed coin machines. We’ve been to 2/3 of the coin machines at the resort. The app has been mostly accurate, with only a few machines that we couldn’t find or not exactly where the map showed. It seems Disney is really pushing the medallions and there are even medallion collector books. So far, all machines have been credit card or bills only. If you use credit card you have to purchase all available coins- anywhere from 3-8. The only machine I’ve used coins for so far was a quarter press inside a store at DCA called Gone Hollywood. There were 2 machines, one Starwars and one avengers with 3 coins each. I’ll update once our trip is complete! Thank you all for the tips!
In the search bar type “pressed coin machines”Where did you find it? I was looking for it in the app but didn't see it.
