Press on toenails??

EEEWWW! Ok, I hate seeing people's feet - I admit it. DD & DH found press on toenails in Target & are threatening to put them in my stocking.

Who uses these? I guess if you have a missing nail I can understand it but do people really stick these on in the name of fashion?

Please explain...

(This thread is all in good fun and not meant to offend anyone with foot issues such as fungi, traumatic injuries, etc. Just wanted to make that clear.)

I wouldn't use them, but I do use stencils and stickers on my toenails all the time.
BTW- my BFF did lose her toenail (her horse stepped on her foot and ripped it off) and no way would she have used a press on toenail. lol

I read the title and my reaction was EWWW!!! I will now be on a serach for them as a gag (literally, lol) gift for my SIL!

I do wear them - not a joke - they last around a month - no clipping/filing, no pedicures, and I always have pretty nails now!

I am very thankful for the long and strong nails that I have. I hate anything on them, and could never imagine using something like that.

I do know some one with three missing toenails, he had ingrown nails. After 3 removals of the nail, the 4th time they take out the entire nail so it can't regrow.

Oh, foot massages are ok (as long as they don't smell)

I just always seem to look down when someone with thick, long, dirty toenails and severely thick, cracked heels is walking by in their favorite Birkenstocks.

I just had to laugh when I saw this because way back in 1988 Pee Wee Herman had a Christmas special, and he gave press-on toenails as a gift to his mail lady. Pee Wee was before his time!

Had foot surgery myself and nail did not grow back right. Actually used them in the summer and was shocked at how natural they looked and how long they stayed on!
