Just wondering if anyone knows if you can call ahead and pre-register for example the "dolphin encounter" while on Nassau? Taking the cruise in Aug. Renae

Yes, you can call DCL and book excursions once your cruise is 60 days away, so you can call beginning sometime next month. Some things fill up fast, so I recommend calling as soon as you can!

Just before your 60 day mark you should receive a booklet describing all of the shore excursions. As the previous poster mentioned, after your 60 day mark, you can call and reserve the excursions.

You can also go to shoretrips.com and get your excursions through them. That's how I received my "Swim with the Dolphins" excursion booked months ago for August for us.
We also booked our horseback riding (minimum age is 8 with them - with Disney it's 12, regardless if the child is an experienced rider or not) and Stingray City snorkeling through them.

You can print off basically the same information that will come in the mail from the website. Including the codes. We did this and it allowed us to call and get some answers to very specific questions about 90 days ahead of time. The CM was great about answering questions even though it wasn't booking time.

a bit of advice, check your excursion tickets when you get on board. I did not and they had put us on the wrong time and really messed up our plans on St. Thomas. By the time I noticed it, it was too late for them to change as it was full.

Will we get the 60-day info sent to us even if we haven't finished paying for the cruise? I know the balance is due about 60 days out but seems like we need the info before the 60-day mark if that's when we need to start calling for ressies...
