Presidents weekend

As I am from the UK I am not exactly sure when this is but I have a sneaky feeling that we are going to be at WDW then. We arrive Thursday 24 Feb. My question is should we avoid the parks that weekend? Is it going to be very crowded (our DDs will be almost 3 and 7). Any ideas for what we can do instead? Will it be busy on the Friday before and Monday after too?

Presidents weekend is Feb 19, 20 and 21 in 2005.

It will still be busy when you arrive, but it will start to thin out that weekend, since most people will be heading home. The Monday after you arrive should be great - everyone should be gone. The weekend will probably be busy, but not as busy as the weekend before Presidents' Day (2/21/05).

I would avoid MK on Saturday if possible.

Question from a Canadian!! Is it just President's weekend, or is it President's week? Do you think it will be busy the week before President's weekend and then through to "President's week"?
