We will be going to WDW during the week of Presidents' day for the first time. How are the crowds compared to Summer, Christmas Break, or Spring Breaks. These are the times we are most familiar with.

We will arrive on 2/14 and plan to go to MK on Sunday morning because of early entry. This is normally a slow day, but because of the Holiday on Monday I was thinking that most people will arrive on Saturday also and head to MK on Sunday. I thought we might do early entry and stay 'til 10:00-10:30 and head to Epcot for the remainder of the day.

I would be greatful for any help on the other days as far as when the crowds might be the lightest for previous experiences. I know things are getting close, but we haven't set our PS's and would like to go ahead before much later.

Thanks, Tom

Supposedly, it's going to be hell.

I'm going to be there during that week too.

It will be crowded!! I would compare it to the 4th of July, without the teens from other countries. It is crowded but not unbearable because the weather is better. It gets a little lighter during the week then on the 3 day weekend. Not every state has off for the week, so it isn't like Christmas week.

You can tell they are expecting crowds by the hours the parks are open. Whenever they are open later they are expecting crowds.

President's week is not bad at all...We've been there the last three years during President's week and the crowds are nothing when compared to summer, Christmas or Easter. Many schools across the US are not closed for the entire week, as they are in New York!
I would definitely make PS arrangements, use fast pass and arrive at the parks early. But do not fear presidents week. It is the least crowded holiday week of the year!:D

We will be at the Dolphin from the 15th to the 21st as the girls are out of school. We have visited this week a few times in the past and compared to June and April its not so bad. The weekend until monday the 16th are crowded so make allowances. After that it seems to slow down some. Its no September but since we are now stuck to school vacations this is the week that works best for us. We either do the ee park, break and return to a different park or do the "day after ee park" touring plan. I do make a few more PS's than I would during a slower time.

We were there last year during Pres week and will be there again this year. We did not find it bad at all...much better than the summer. Especially with fast pass, any waits were very short. The weather was also wonderful so you don't mind the wait as much should there be one. Go and enjoy!:sunny:

I am counting the days! (51 more to go) Was at WDW Thanksgiving and can't wait to get back. Made all my PS's last night and got the times I wanted. The only EE park we are doing is MK on Sunday and will stay for the day. It couldn't be any more crowded than the Sunday before Thanksgiving. We'll do MGM on Monday, Epcot on Wednesday and AK on Thursday, with Tuesday as a rest day.

For you guys who'd been there during President's week:

Any of you took the e-night rides?

If available, I'm thinking about joining e-night for Tuesday and Friday nights (info based on e-night history).

Freaky! We'll arrive on Sunday and planning to go to MK for Sunday, MGM on Monday (got the Fantasmic Dinner Package), MK again on Tuesday (B'fast @ Cindy's), Epcot on Wednesday.

Did you hacked into my computer and copied my plan.doc file? :p

No, in fact we just finalized our schedule last night before I called to make the PS's. We're doing lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern and dinner at Crystal Palace. Monday we are doing lunch at Brown Derby and dinner at 50's Prime Time. Wednesday we are doing lunch at Garden Grill and dinner at Le Cellieur and Breakfastasaurus at AK on Thursday.

We are staying at the Swan.

Tee hee :P We're also going to AK on Thursday.

However, since we're not big eaters and don't have too much of a budget, we'll only go for Cindy's b'fast and we bring other breakfast and partial dinner from Toronto (them's instant noodles). We're also only staying at ASMu.

I think I have to bring a power strip from Toronto though, I need lots of electrical outlet (low voltages) to charge the batteries for the digicam, GPRS radio and videocam... and PDA.

We went last year on Tues nite during Pres week and hope to go again this year (waiting for the dates to be posted). E-ride nights are very worthwhile because they control how many tix can be purchased so it is never too crowded and you can ride without waits.:wave2:

Do you think it's worth going on both nights? (Tuesday and Friday nights of the President's Week, based on the past 6 years history)

I think it depends on your stamina. All the other parks are closed so it's not like you are taking away time from something else. It just ends up being a late night. So I quess you need to think about what your plans are for the next morning. Also, not everything is open. So it also depends on how much you love the rides that are open.
