Presidents week

Ok, we decided to start calling last week to see if we could get in for Presidents week since we just can't handle this NE weather anymore. Finally, today we were able to get a studio at SSR for 2/17 and 2/18 now holding out and will be calling every day to see if we can get in for 2/15, 2/16 and 2/19....what are our chances? We got in for Thanksgiving last year. I called on the day and was able to get 4 nights. We were in Orlando so we were able to go over and check in. Here's hoping I can pull off these other 3 nights.
Any experiences with last minute rooms??

sending pixie dust!! that sounds great booking so soon to departure!! Yes, this winter has been awful!!! Good Luck! We book New Years 2 years ago about 20 days in advance at the Contemporary, we were cash nothing came available for points and had alot of fun!!

We're heading to Vero on Sunday. 10 day forecast is 70's I am so sick of the cold, ice and snow this year. I know the long range forecast might be wrong, but it's better than New England!
