Hi,

We will be arriving at DL the day after President's Day. Are many Southern Cal schools off for the entire week? Here on Long Island schools are closed for the week.

Just wondering what to expect crowd wise....Since we are arriving after the holiday weekend, I am hoping it won't be too bad. :)

You're golden. Only a few year-round schools might have the time off. Most schools are off on Monday and then back to school.

You're golden.

I wouldn't assume that. Lots of Northern California schools have that entire week off. I'll guess that crowds will diminish as the week goes on, but I would guess that it will be busier than the weeks prior or following.

I wasn't just assuming. It's a pretty good time to go, based upon my experience. By Wednesday, the crowds will be quite modest. That week is far better than any random week in early to midJanuary, when local college students haven't yet started the spring semester.

It just depends what you're used to. We usually go the last week of January/first week of February. THe park is empty then. So obviously the week of President's day will be much busier.

We've talked to people who've gone that week, and they said it was busy. But I'm sure it's much less busy than summer or holiday weeks.

I wish you the best, but speaking from our experience, Presidents week was the 2nd most crowded experience we've had at Disneyland (Only Christmas was more crowded).

The early part of the week before Presidents Weekend was GREAT! Small lines, but still comfortable. By Friday before the long weekend, the crowds came and our children didn't want to go into Disneyland. Wall to wall people, and strollers. California Adventure was much less crowded (as always) but Screamin' Californian was not working.

I'll think happy thoughts for you! Good luck, and have a great trip!
