president's week vs. easter...

so, this isn't a bad decision to have to make, since either way we end up at WDW, but i know neither choice is great....

we just bought a timeshare in orlando and really want to take my parents on vacation with us in 2009... problem is, my mom works in a school and the only weeks she has off are feb 16-20 and april 13-17 (week after easter)...

we went the last week in june 2007 and it was very very hot and pretty crowded (that is why we are trying to avoid summer, but i guess that is a possibility too)

we also went this past march 10-16 and it was great! great weather, manageable crowds...

i know there are plenty of you out there who schedule around school breaks and have been there at these times... any insight into these options would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

In general, Easter is about as crowded as the last week of June...maybe a little more crowded, maybe a little less crowded.

President's Day week is very crowded too; it's one of the top five or six weeks of the year attendance-wise. But it is not as crowded as Easter week or the week leading up to July 4.

I would vote for president's weekend also.

thanks for your resonse! my husband is concerned it will be too cold to swim in february,but i think you never can really predict the weather... plus, it will be freezing here in new jersey - 60 degrees will feel hot!
