Yummy! Worms and Dirt!

Loving the review so far! :)

We're going to Olivias during our May trip. I was happy to read your review as I don't see them too often. Congratulations on DVC.:goodvibes

Thanks! We're waiting patiently for the closing. I can't wait to make our first reservation! 1 week, Christmas time on the Boardwalk.

Hopefully there are still rooms available after we close.

Olivias was good, but like I said, my tummy was crazy. I got car sick on the way down, around the N.C./S.C. border.

Then on the way back in PA.

Lets hope airfare is cheap this Dec.

Hello again!

Another quick breakfast at the super busy Pop food court!

Again...nothing special here. But it will work for a start to the morning.

This day we headed to Epcot.

We both wanted different things for lunch so DH & DD9 went to the Yorshire County Fish Shop in United Kingdom.

They both had the same thing:

Fish & Chips

DD10 & myself wanted something else, we weren't sure what. We settled on having lunch at the Liberty Inn at the American Adventure. This place was busy. People were waiting for food for quite awhile. Some how we got our food ahead of 2 other people who had been waiting awhile. I felt bad.

But here's what we had:

Pulled pork sandwich & cherry slushie for DD

Buffalo chicken nuggets

Let me tell you these were spicy. I know, I see "buffalo" and I should assume spicy. But I'm thinking how spicy can they really be? Spicy.

You need a drink handy. So get some milk.

Overall: it was a nice change of pace from Pop. The fish got ate by both the husband and DD. The only complaint about the fish was that some parts of the breading was hollow with no fish. And they wished they were given more.

I'm dismayed by the lack of greenery in your photos! Do you not like veggies? Or just not eat them on vacation? Or is it just total coincidence that there are no veggies in the meals you pick (besides that celery)?

My DH would love to join you if you are a veggie-free family :rotfl:. He eats very, very few!!!! LOL

We do eat veggies. The girls and I are picky eaters, but we do like the basics: peas, potatoes, corn, cooked carrots. DH is more adventurous.

I actually like cooked cabbage and sauerkraut(?), the husband hates sauerkraut with a passion.

But for medical reasons I cannot eat green veggies because of their vitamin K content. I sneak in the cabbage once in awhile...

There will be some veggies coming up shortly. I hope...:rotfl:

Great reviews so far...can't wait to read the rest. :cool1:

How was the pork sandwich and cherry slushie? I know my boys will love cherry slushies, is it like the Icee drinks you get at the movies?

The daughter had the pork sand. She ate it all, so she must have liked it well enough. The slushie was also hers but I did take a few sips. Cool & refreshing. probably better than the slushies you get at stores, etc...

Ok, it's not even 11am and I'm drooling over the fish & chips. That was the first place hubby and I ate on our first trip and it was just so good!! A must counter service when you're in World Showcase.

Those spicy Buffalo Chicken nuggets look yummy! I will have to keep them in mind for July!

Dinner our Epcot day was a short trip away at 1900 Park Fare. Sorry, I forgot to take pics of the food. But I did get pics of the characters. I know, not the same thing, but it's something.

This place was a hoot! We had ressies for 5:40pm and waited about 10 minutes. We we're alittle concerned before we went in. The husband leans over to me and asks me "are we underdressed?" I was beginning to think so. Once we walked in the actual rest. our fears were put to bed. Food, chaos & characters were everywhere.

We were seated in the back room, not in the main room. This room is quiet, but you can't see the dancing and stuff going on in the other room.

But, it was fine for us.

The characters here were great. Prince Charming was soooo polite. Cindy was all smiles, the step mother was downright evil, and the step sisters were goofy.

A good time was had by all. The step sister in the green came running back when it was waltz time to get my husband to dance with her, but, alas, he was at the buffet. She was dissapointed but grabbed some older gentleman from the next table instead. I was dissapointed, I wanted to see my husband dance!

Here are a few pics from that night of the characters. We would go back here again, if not for the food (which was very good), but for the entertainment!

Up next : next days lunch @ Flame Tree BBQ

After our wild dinner the night before, it was Animal Kingdom day.

After another breakfast at Pop, we headed to the park. I didn't take pics of the breakfast, we've already seen the Pop breakfast.

Our lunch at Flame tree was very good. We were there at 11am when they opened and didn't have to wait long at all.

Here's what we had:

Kids chicken leg meal, adult pork sandwich, frozen lemonades for dessert & drinks

2 Adult 1/2 chickens for the husband & me

This was very good. We like BBQ anyway. We found the outdoor eating area amusing due to the ducks and birds around. We needed to watch our fingers!
