Presidents Week comments

How many Cdns here have gone during Prez' week? How busy was it and would you avoid it like mad at WDW?

We our Feb 16 as a holiday it would be nice to try and use that during the holiday.

We have been the week before Presidents week and it was a wonderful week. But.... on the weekend that we were leaving, the crowds really got terrible. I had researched the best and worst times to go and Presidents week always came up as one of the worst.

I have to say I was disappointed that Family Day was put on the same day as Presidents Day. We too would have liked to take advantage of a holiday to go south. It's spring break for universities and colleges here too so the borders and airports and going to be crammed too.

We were there once the week before Prez week. We left on the Thursday just before the weekend and it was absolutely crazy I wouldn't do it The week and a half before leading up to it was great. We walked on every ride more than once. Weather was cool however. Once Valentine's Day hit it was pure pandemonium.

Ive been there several times during presidents weekend. As long as you make sure that you are leaving as the holiday starts your good. The parks go from empty to crazy busy as soon as the holiday weekend starts.

Once and once only....we are WDW veterans and we found it challenging, even with park hopping and everything else....not the most enjoyable trip. i wouldn't do it again
