Hi,

Can anyone comment on which day is best to visit IOA on President's weekend? I was thinking Saturday the 18th but would like to hear what others think.

Thanks

Both days will be busy but Saturday will also feature the second Mardi Gras concert of the season so you have to add that crowd into the mix. Kelly Clarkson is scheduled on 2/18 and the Studios will be packed for the concert...just prepare now.

You're better off going on Sunday but that night Boyz 2 Men are scheduled to perform at the Studios. That whole weekend should be avoided unless you want to stick with IOA or do the Studios in the mornings and then head over to IOA.

We are only visiting IOA so with all the crowds at studios what effect if any will that have on IOA. They aren't connected are they? This is our first visit.

Thanks

Hi Metro! :wave2:
Do you have the line-up? I haven't seen it anywhere yet...
Thanks!! E

No...the two parks are separate and most of the crowds for the concerts will remain at the Studios. You will have to deal with the crowds at CityWalk though. Those can be wall to wall at times.

How busy are the parks expected to be during Persident's week. I just booked us for 2/18-2/23 (parks 2/19-2/22: Sunday-Wednesday), and I'm wondering what to expect?

My only prior Universal trip was October 2011, and almost everything was walk-on. We did Dragon Challenge 3X in 25 minutes!! Our longest wait was 30 minutes for the trolley in the sky, which was funny because it was only me (29yrs old) and my sister (16yrs old) :rotfl:

TIA for any insight anyone can provide!!

Thanks for the response. So it sounds like Sunday is better than Saturday. What about the Monday holiday. Any idea if that would be the best of the three (Sat, Sun or Mon.)?

The crowds should be fairly light during the week.

Our upcoming trip was originally scheduled for Feb 16th through the 21st until I looked on Touring Plans crowd calenders and saw the crowds expected at Disney parks are going to be 10 out of 10. That's what cued me into the fact that it was a holiday weekend. I knew I cannot handle that kind of crowds and if Disney is going to be 10 out of 10 I imagine US and IOA will be slammed and jammed full of ppl too. So we rescheduled our trip for Jan 26th through Feb 1st. I am hoping that solves the crowds problem. Good luck with whatever day you go.
