We are staying at disney from Feb 24-27 when off to the cruise however I did not realize that it is President's week that week (the day is Feb 21) being from Canada. Also I understand the Indy or something is also on at that time.

Will the parks be busier these days because of these two events or should it calm down by Thursday?

I was wondering the same thing! We are coming from Canada too. Feb 23-March 6. We are coming before "our" March Break, so hoped for fewer crowds. I looked at the calendar and MK is open until 10 p.m. so that indicates it should be busy. We were in Florida last year around this same time, so I guess we hit presidents week then too, and we did not have long waits. We used Fastpass a lot and that worked.

Great - we live near Brantford, Ontario. Just went through yet another storm and can't seem to break from these windchills. This is why thinking about the trip beats work right now!

As we only have 3 days at WDW I was planning on going to MK thursday (as we are staying at the GF) as soon as we arrive, then Epcot Friday and MGM Saturday. I hope these are good choices for busy days. I thought we would be fine until the heard about Presidents Day and the race - however not being from the US I don't know what people do during this holiday.

President's day/week is a 5 on the busy scale (with 5 being some of the worst I believe).

Many of the school systems in this area now have a winter break and that is the week of the break. Also, the govt and schools are out here so even if the counties around WDW are not on vacation, people are still off and President's day was VERY packed last year when I was there.

Still had a wonderful time, but do go expecting big crowds.

1) Don't look for too much open space while you are there.
2) The busiest weeks at WDW are
. . . Christmas Week (between Christmas and New Years)
. . . Thanksgiving Week
. . . President's Week
. . . Easter Week

Does anyone have first-hand experience with the week before President's Day? We'll be there from the 13th through the 18th, so I'm hoping that we'll be getting out just as the crowds start growing.

Thanks!
