Yikes! Didn't realize Prez Day and Mardi Gras week were same. It's gonna be busy!

We only have 3 days. Planning to spend Day 1 at MK to take advantage of morning EMH. Day 2 currently plan to split EPCOT and DHS. Day 3 Universal (haven't see Harry Potter yet).

Question 1 - too ambitious for busy holiday weekend?

Question 2 - in regards to Day 2. DHS has morning EMH. Do we use EMH and hit Rocking Roller Coaster and Toy Story early (and can we do both twice?) then FP+ Epcot for afternoon? Or rope drop Epcot and do Soarin' and Test track early then FP+ DHS in afternoon and get to see Fantasmic and fireworks? Chances of doing RRC and Toy Story twice if we wait until afternoon to go to DHS? OR EMH DHS, Epcot with FP in afternoon, back to DHS for evening shows? Help!

Thanks!!

Fat Tuesday is February 13th, so the Louisiana schools will be out the week of the 12th
Presidents Day is February 19th

As PP's said Mardi Gras is n ot the same week as President's Day.
I know as I'm going during the week of Mardi Gras/Valentine's Day.

President's Day week is generally known for being a busy time.

Not too ambitious in my opinion but I like my quick and dirty trips.

I don't believe you're going to ride RNRC and TSMM twice each in that first hour.

On quick trips I often PH from HS in the AM to Epcot in the afternoon/evening.
I'd get 2 FP+ at HS and then as soon as you tap for your first one you can look for a tier 1 or tier 2 at Epcot.

I did a trip when Presidents week and Mardi Gras overlapped one time...ONE...TIME.

Sorry, my OP wasn't clear. Newbie on the boards and didn't want long post. Trip is Pres Day weekend Fri-Monday so riding the overlap wave. Should be interesting.

I know I can't do RNRC and TSMM twice during my one hour of EMH. But can I fit both in twice in a morning in DHS with EMH and no FP (saving FP for Epcot). Thought I couldn't get another FP until I used original three?

RNRC yes. Especially if you are there at rope drop and utilize the single rider line. TSM I would have my doubts. You may hit it once without a long wait. I would go strait to TSM at rope drop and then ride RNRC before park opening and then hit the single rider line to do it again. I have found that RNRC seems to get up and running a few minutes late every single visit though (maybe it's my bad luck) hope you have a good time

Have you not booked yet?
I ask because the 60 day FP+ window has already opened for those dates so if you haven't booked them yet its gonna make it more difficult to get exactly what you want exactly when you want it.

If EMH is 8am-9am you'd have 8am-noon so 4 hours to do those attractions twice. That is definitely more than enough time lol.
You could fairly easily get on RNRC twice and TOT once in that first hour if that's something you'd be interested in.
Then do TSMM back to back.

Personally though what I do is RD RNRC x2, then TOT x1, then have a FP+ for the earliest time I can get for TSMM, then also have a FP+ for TOT for a couple hours later.
As soon as I have done TSMM I look for an Epcot FP+.
When not park hopping you must use all 3 FP+ before getting another one.
If you want to park hop and you only get 1-2 FP+ at the first park you can then look for a FP+ at the second park as soon as you've tap in for the first one.
Sorry if it sounds a bit complicated. Its really not. My wording probably isn't the greatest lol.

Thanks for the plan! I totally followed what you said and was planning around it. Turns out HS does not have EMH that day. I misread the calendar. Duh! We were staying at DS so could use EMH but not 60 day FP window.

Found a room at Contemp which I grabbed and booked FP 35 days out. Since no EMH at HS (and hubby dying to see Star Wars FW) we decided to reverse the day.

PPO ADR 8:05 at Garden Grill. Soarin' as soon as they let us get in line. Then crossing over to TT and Mission Space. Spaceship Earth and then swinging through Japan for a QS sushi snack.

Walking (or boating) to HS for 12:10 Star Tours and 1:10 TSMM. Have 10:30 FP for Indiana that I will let expire so I can try for FP#4 for RNRC right away when we tap into TSMM. Then we will keep trying for more FP rest of the night. Apparently no now wants to do ToT again and I'm not excited to ride alone. Worried I won't get FP for TSMM OR RNRC if I try to do 1-2 FP in Epcot then book same day FP for HS.

Plan to do standby for Fantasmic so we can stay in back and make quick exit to get to FW.

Then Uber to Contemp to pick up luggage and move to Universal that night.

I think we'll be tired. Other than that, what do ya think?

Seems like a pretty good plan to me if you're getting in everything you'd like to :)
