In their defense, and keep in mind I was more with Obama this election, most of them did work for 2 years campaigning.
However, it is a little immature. They applauded for other Obama-related things he said when he talked about how much our country has grown, though. That's good.

I actually really didn't like McCain's speech. He still looked like a robot to me.

I loved Obama's, but they keep on reairing it... it's 18 minutes long, I don't need to see it more than once.
