Well once again the holiday season is here. I was wondering what everyone got their Fiance/Husband/Boyfriend/Other for Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanza this year???

My Hunny got a Engraved Mickey Mouse Watch, a Keychain you can d/l pics to, (comes in handy when he is deployed, small mementos keep up morale), we are saving for the wedding so it was a very light year.

I've been around these boards for a while now, not really posting much as I'm not even engaged yet (still waiting for him to ask my parent's permission... maybe my gift this year?). Anyway, I got him quite a few things as it was the first holiday I've had a real job. He's getting a new miniture game he's interested in, America The Calender from Jon Stewart, some game he picked out that's based on literature (yeah, we're both kinda geeky like that... :rotfl2: ), a keychain that's a playable poker table with cards and chips, a "Little Black Book of Poker," a six pound bag of gummy bears (long story), and then a blank scrapbook. We've been together 3 1/2 years (soph. year of high school) and have been through more in that time than most couples go through in years. Ironically there are very few pictures of us and I figured that since we're going to Disney in March for only our 2nd real trip (and that's when he's considering proposing :goodvibes ) it'd be a good year to do a scrapbook of what goes on. There's a little note on the first page, all sentimental. But I have a feeling his favorite gift will be the gummy bears

It looks like your best gift this season will be your hubby coming home! That'll surpass every gift mentioned in these posts. Happy Holidays!!

After my DF proposed this past Sept 30, 2005 in Epcot, we went a little crazy. I think we thought since we were on top of the world, so was our bank accounts??!!?? Needless to say, we had a pretty hefty credit card bill when we got home (those room keys are dangerous!). So our presents to each other was to pay off the bill and put our trip pics in an album to "relive" our vacation as our gifts to each other.

I upgraded us to a Savannah view at AKL for our honeymoon, as his Christmas gift. Can't wait to tell him. :lovestruc

Mine got an X box 360, some games, some dvds and a griddle so he can make me breakfast in the morining. (I'm not a good cook at all and so he cooks for me) :rotfl:

Good thing my DF can't read that you got yours an Xbox360. Your DF must have been estatic!!

Since my DH is deployed, I haven't really gotten him anything yet. We are having Christmas when he returns in another 6 weeks so I have some more time to shop for him!!

My DH is a LEGO freak!! Which is fine with me 'cause it makes gift buying fairly easy.

But this year, I went that little extra step and got him the biggest set LEGO makes...the STAR WARS Imperial Star Destroyer! This thing is unbelievably HUGE!! And he's wanted it for years...so I thought it was the "perfect" gift for our first "married" Christmas.

And it turned out great too...after he opened it, he spent the next twenty minutes or so saying "this is SOO COOL!" over and over again! LOL!!

He got a few other things (some jeans, DVD's, cologne)...but after that LEGO, I had to be very careful to stay within the budget we set...

It was a great Christmas!!!

This was our 1st married Christmas together and I got my husband an Ipod Nano, Pirates of the Carribean Disneyland 50th limited edition bookends, The Complete Far Side Collection, the book "1,000 places to see before you die", Grumpy Slippers, some card games, and candy

Well we were watching money this year (saving up for our new home and wedding/honeymoon) so I got Eric the doc martins he picked out.

Side story: Eric has always wanted this coffee mug robe he saw brad pitt wear in the movie fight club. I have looked almost 4 years for a robe like this and after I had purchased his shoes my sister found the exact robe online at sleepyheads.com it turns out to be this really nice robe. Anyway im so excited!! I may even give it to him as a wedding gift??!

The look on his face was priceless when he opened it. It was great. There for a moment, he was like a kid in the candy store and kept jumping up and down and saying I can't believe that I got it!.

Sooo, how much is the biggest LEGO set now? I have a DS16 who has always loved LEGO to the hilt. Maybe I should buy that as a part of his grad present from high school May 2007?

2BWEDDNDIS - Yes, I think the robe as a wedding gift is a terrific idea

My DH got XM radio Mi Fi, the portable system. That was his big gift. Of course, our Dec trip to WDW was a great gift too :earsboy: :earsgirl:

We were going to go cheap on gifts this year and get ourselves a freezer however something happened between November and December and all of a sudden it was an all bets off for Christmas.

DH got a braun razor with cleaner, MP3 player, 3 seasons of simpsons, book, cologne, overnight bag, playstation games, sleep pants, and a couple of other things I don't remember off the top of my head.

The Imperial Star Destroyer is $299. I got it directly from LEGO 'cause the shipping is usually cheaper than from an ebay seller. But I also ordered it when LEGO was having "free shipping".

This year, they came out with another HUGE set, it's only a couple hundred fewer pieces than the ISD...it's the Death Star and that thing is COOOL!!!!

If your DS is leaning toward the LEGO collectors status, the ISD is really one of the "must haves", it's expensive, but it is really the best LEGO out there. And sometimes it's hard to find...at one point it was discontinued, so that's why I wanted to get it first, in case it disappeared again...

Hey everyone...
This Christmas I really went all out for my fiance...
He got the Richard Petty "Kings Experience". So he gets to drive like 30 laps or something in a Nascar. I think he thought he was just getting a "rookie experience". He was so surprised. He thinks I paid almost $1,000.00 for it. But I am an Ebay freak and got it for $500. It will take him a while to catch up to that!
Thanks
Gabrielle
