Presents Under The Tree.... yes or no

We hide the gifts and then put them all out the night before Christmas, after the kids are asleep. It just creates such a magical kind of feeling for them to get up in the morning and see all of those presents suddenly appear.

I will never forget the excitement I would have as a kid on the night before Christmas. Then I would run to the tree on Christmas morning and was always amazed at all of the gifts there. (There actually weren't a lot when I was growing up, but it seemed like it to me)

We always wrap all of the presents. The ones from Santa were in Santa wrap.
We found it was so much fun for the kids to unwrap the toys. There's always that moment of suspense when you wonder what is in the present.

This is exactly what we do (and how I grew up!). I even hide back the boxes from the out of town relatives so that everything is more exciting on Christmas morning.

Yep. The presents are put under the tree as they are wrapped. Every now and then, there will be some saved to put under on Christmas Eve. The ones from Santa are the ones that don't come out until Christmas Eve.

It looks too bare without the presents under the tree.

I put them out as soon as I've had time to wrap them. The tree just doesn't look complete without the gifts underneath!

I put all family gifts to everyone as soon as they are wrapped. All santa gifts go out after the kids are asleep on christmas eve. They get 2 or 3 unwrapped that are ready to play with, then about 4 or 5 wrapped to open at the end. We open one gift at a time to make it all last, that way we see what everyone is getting.

Dh and i put our gifts out for eachother and one gift from us to dd for her to shake. we also put all our gifts out for othe rfamily and friends ahead of time.
