Can you order something to be put in yours or someone else's room to be there when you arrive?

You cannot call the resort directly; the resort number only gets you to a call center.

You can have things delivered; Disney offers a service as well as a few locals (cannot remember the name off the top of my head) that will do baskets, etc. and you can have them delivered to the resort, and then their room when it becomes available.

You can order things from Disney Florist. But unless the recipient is staying on the Club Level, they won't be able to deliver to the room until after the person checks in. It will be delivered to the hotel and the hotel will deliver to the room after check-in.

We stayed in the CR, normal room in the tower, back in 2003.
We ordered flowers for our 18th wedding anniversary from the Disney Florist and they were in our assigned room when we checked in.
I guess our room was pre-assigned, and we checked in, they just gave us our room keys.

I can confirm that Missyrose is correct. If you are in club level it can be done, I've done it a few times. But only club level.

My BF surprised me with a floral arrangement from Disney Florists during our last trip. He did ask for it to be delivered after 5pm, and they delivered it early (sometime between 9am-1pm) so it was in our room when we came back for our mid-day break - not what he wanted. Just wanted to caution in case something you may want is time sensitive

Betsy was fantastic and I highly suggest getting in touch with her. She helped me create a great basket along with a beautiful floral arrangement for my proposal to my now fiance. She was so easy to talk to and work with. I cannot say the same about my experience with Disney Florist.

As others have said, unless the person you are getting the basket for is staying CL, the present will not be able to be delivered until they check-in.

I have used Disney Florist and Memories by Betsy and have been pleased with both. The only time I've had anything waiting in room upon checkin was during our club level stays.

If I want something there on my arrival day, I use Betsy. If I want something on a subsequent day, I use Disney Florist. Disney Florist does beautiful work, more elaborate than Betsy (and they can do food items where Betsy cannot), but they will not guarantee anything will be there on arrival day. The in-room celebrations are wonderful (I've done the regular and the Halloween one) but they have to be done after your arrival day.

That was the one I couldn't remember. Thanks for reminding us of her business. She does a wonderful job and is much more affordable......

Not sure how they did it, but my husband's business partner sent a Disney gift card to us at BWV last Christmas and it was waiting on the King bed when we checked in. It was in a nicely wrapped box, so I'd guess they used the Disney Florist.

Because it was the villas, a DVC property and yes you can get it in a DVC unit. In the regular hotels, which I think the OP was referring to, it's available only in CL rooms.

I have actually found that what i want i need to talk to the Dining in the resort........I forget what it was called...."private Dining " maybe........

Any way i wanted to have chocolate covered strawberries and mickey rice krispy treats....which could not come from Disney Florist.
