We will be in MK on June 30th. I know it is horrible time to go, but it is the only time that worked out. What should we be prepared for? Will it be shoulder-to-shoulder crowds where we are hardly able to even walk anywhere in the park? I am really started to stress out about it. We are planning on being there at rope drop. We have a FP for an early lunch at BOG. Before that we are hoping to meet Ariel at her grotto and ride Under the Sea (have a FP+). After lunch we are planning on riding Haunted Mansion (have a FP+) and watch the Fesitval of Fantasy parade (have a FP+). Anything else will be just be icing on the cake. Do you think we'll be able to do this without going crazy in the crowds?

I have never been around this time, but it may be busy because it's summer and it's a Monday. However, I would expect crowds to be heavier later in the week around the 4th of July. It may be busy, but you got two big attractions people will flock to at RD - Mine Train and Anna & Elsa. As long as you try to meet Ariel the first hour you're there, you shouldn't have problems since the rest are FPs. If you want to do Ariel first thing at RD and they continue to walk people to the rope just behind the castle, I would suggest you get on the left hand side. People will be veering to the right once they get past the carousel to go to Princess Fairytale Hall and Mine Train. Or maybe you can take the path before the castle on the left (where Merida meets). This will lead you to the Mad Tea Party and you can take the back way into the New Fantasyland.

The good news is that is the rumored opening date for the new Harry Potter park at Universal, so *maybe* the Disney parks might be slightly less crowded than usual that day. Maybe. :goodvibes

Yeah - I am hoping that the possible opening of Diagon Alley will keep some of the crowds away from MK. Wishful thinking I'm sure.

I was going to point this out as well!! It could help a lot but then again a lot of people had trips planned WAY before the rumor leaked! Diagon should have been opening way earlier, but we all know how that goes *cough* Mine Train */cough*
