For this trip (April 5-10) I am trying to prepay for as much as I can. So far my tickets and hotel are paid for, as well as plane tickets. I bought Disney gift cards to pay for Savi’s Workshop. I am thinking about getting PrePaid Visa’s for food and souvenirs. Has anyone used them in the in the Parks/Downtown Disney? I don’t want to limit our purchases to Disney only.

Also do churro carts accept Disney gift cards?

I've used Disney gift cards at churro carts MANY times. I can't answer your prepaid Visa questions though. I used to use gift cards for nearly everything, but then when mobile ordering came to be, the system wouldn't let you use Disney gift cards, so I stopped buying so many.

Hmm. The one we went to last time did not.
When was your last DLR trip? It was a while ago, right? That might have been right before the newer card readers were installed on most/all of the carts. OP: most carts should accept Disney gift cards (don't know about the Visa gift cards because we haven't used those), but be prepared to find a few places that may not. YMMV -- which is typical of any DLR experience!

I use a pre paid Mastercard every year. I use POST FX which I get at my post office and its linked to my social security number. I'm from Ireland and the card is in US Dollars. I bring my Euros cash to the post office, they convert the cash to US Dollars and then load the card.

I find it handy as I can save during the year and add money when I have it.

In June 2019 I added it as a payment card to the Disneyland App and was able to use it for mobile ordering.

The only thing is you need to keep a track of your spending, as the card will get declined when the money is gone.

I can also log in online and check the balance and top up.

Yeah, last time I was there was nearly two years ago. And last time I tried to buy a churro with a gift card was even longer.

Adding it to the app is BRILLIANT!

Now i just have to figure out if there's any way to combine all my little $25 Visa gift cards into one big card that I can load in the app. Otherwise it's going to be a pain!
